Love my CZ75d load for it and alls well chicharones got it wright/and the rest of the fella's that posted previously that enjoy there's.

Yep, I had to bend down the steel floor plate front of my PCRs mags to make it better. Many others have had to do the same.

I have both a Compact and a full size CZ75B. Love them both. The full size is a great range gun and the Kadet .22LR conversion setup that's made for the full size is the best I've seen on any pistol. I put Cajun Gun Works kits in both of mine and the triggers rival the best 1911 triggers I have. Very nice indeed. For the money involved, or just about any reasonable amount of money, I think the Compact is a great shooting gun.
Fyi, the Kadet conversion slide WILL fit on the Compact too, however the longer magazine will extend below the butt of the pistol a bit. It does work though, and is a handy option to have.

The rubber base pads (as shipped on P-01 magazines) make a world of difference to the CZ compacts. If your CZ compact magazines don't have them, add them now and thank me later.

I have the SA/DA model, and the only thing I don't like is the safety is a little too far forward. I have to adjust my grip after pushing it off.
H&Ks have the worst DA triggers of pretty much everything besides a Walther PPK. The CZ triggers are well known to get better over time.
No, H&Ks have good trigger pulls. For example, the trigger pull on PSP I used to own was much better than found on CZ-75. The worst triggers are found in Polish P-64, Soviet Nagant revolers, and police issue SiG P-6s..

A few years ago, a friend let me dry fire his H&K, I forget which model. It wasn't as bad as a Colt All American 2000, but it was BAD.

OLD H&Ks (at least some of them) have good triggers. Their newer Browning short recoil guns (at least one ones I've tried) don't.

The PSP is a SAO pistol. Hence it's "squeeze cocker" nickname. it does have a very good trigger though.

The only CZ I tried that had a terrible trigger was the CZ -100...there was no two ways around it, that trigger was FOUL! Well, no, I was wrong, the other one with a bad hard long trigger was the CZ-70, but that wasn't the current CZ company at all. NEAT little gun, but the trigger and the caliber screwed it up.
My other CZ pistols have perfectly good to excellent triggers, and they just get better with age.
I haven't had really that much experience with HK pistol triggers; when 5 out of 6 USP pistols failed in less than a year on the rental range I worked at, I figured that was enough knowledge. To be fair, first gen USPs

I've said this before many times on many post and forums but I'll say it again because I like saying it lol. The Cz p01 might very well be the best and most versatile 9mm handgun made. I believe if there was a point scale for handguns this pistol would score the highest in 9mm with a few close behind. I have a Cz 75B omega and it is a tack driver. So much so I've been on a hunt for p01 for a while now. I had a chance to get the OD green p01 but that color just doesn't do it for me for the slide and frame. If just the frame was green I would have done it. Now I'm kicking myself for not buying it when I had the chance and just cerakoting the slide black. The p01 is literally the only gun I've never seen in the used gun case. That's because once you buy one you love it and keep it until you die lol. Pcr is the same without the rail so the same goes for that

Right there with you. "Blasphemous" is a good word, and exactly how I felt when I picked up a CZ 75B SA. I put a set of VZ grips on it and it literally turned into the perfect pistol for me. I am a DIE HARD 1911 fan, and I was amazed how comfortable this gun was to shoot. I mean, for the past two months every time I see it, I pick it up and think "huh...still feels perfect..."
It's as if I had my Sig 1911 Tacops in .45 in my hand outside, and I said to the sky, "you know what? Could you take this exact pistol and fit twice as many rounds in it? And while you're at it, make it EVEN MORE comfortable to shoot? Oh, and I want it EVEN MORE reliable than this gun with 0 failures in about 900 rounds... I also want it to be the same weight... if not a little less...and make the ammo cheaper...and isn't a big polymer pistol with the whole DA/SA nonsense...oh yeah, and lastly, HALF the price of this puppy..."
Then a CZ 75B SA lands at my feet
. And I'm (embarrassingly) no longer craving more 1911s... Looks like it's new holster time...

Interesting. I didn't know that CZ made it in a steel frame. I do believer that the photo is of the usual alloy frame as I can see the frame widening line just below the safety.
I believe the standard Cz 75 compact is the all steel frame like the full size. It's also only offered with the thumb safety. The p01 and pcr are offered with the decocker and the omega p01 is offered convertible with both. I've never seen the railed 75 compact with ambi safety and it's not on their website so I'd definitely say this is a special run. My only gripe with this all steel 75 compact is how heavy I'm sure it is. When I go to a compact size handgun I don't want it to weigh 2 lbs. I'll stick to the alloy frame compact Cz's and go with all steel when I want a full size 75

I came late to this thread; I'd picked up one of the original 75 Compacts when they first came out, sans FCS and rail (all for just under $500, IIRC). Awesome little pistol; the only con for me is the lack of night-sights. DA trigger not great, but an utterly reliable, fairly accurate, concealable and most of all, totally cool looking piece.
Everyone should have at least one CZ-75 (full-size) and one compact ... Because.

Did you not read my post? I said H&Ks have the worst DA - as in double action trigger pulls. The P7 is a single action pistol.
