Hollywood’s latest anti-Second Amendment movie has historically horrible opening weekend

The majority of Americans and the majority of gun owners do not view federal LE as Nazis.
The majority of decent human beings everywhere don't approve of shooting women holding babies or of burning children to death.

There will always be those who are fans of Joachim Peiper and Lon Horiuchi.

You seem to be put out that I would respond to false information, when I am not the one who asserted a false claim in the first place.

I think you read into what he wrote to be something that you could try to correct. You, undoubtedly, put out false info as a separate claim. And, now, you seem to be put out by someone responding the misinformation you made and pointing out that your source doesn't support your claim.

Now THAT is certainly the pot calling the kettle black.

I think you have some interesting theories about me, but they aren't true. I'm not put out, and I'm not the one going on the character attack.

What did I undoubtedly claim that was false? Are you still worked up about this?
The fact is that African Americans voted in similar numbers for Romney and Trump, but since fewer African Americans voted in 2016, the percentage of the total vote went from 6 to 8 percent.

The only way to read this wrong is if you don't know what 6 and 8 percent refers to. Was there some other 6 and 8 you were thinking of that wasn't the 6 percent of black voters that voted for Romney and the 8 percent of black voters that voted for Trump?

Most Americans don't know who those people are. They know who Timothy McVeigh is.

Must be some Moderator coffee klatch going on, or something.

Moderator 101 class: How to Shut Down Hostility in 30 seconds?

I thought YOU had the day shift?

If you object to something and would like Moderator attention, there is a "report" button in every post.

You don't know anything about my world.

We are discussing the NRA's public perception. That's all.
I know everything I need to know about your world by the things you say which paint an exceptionally vivid picture of it.

Responding to the killings by government of a woman holding a baby and of a bunch of children with a remark that the murders don't matter because low information voters don't the names of the perpetrators or the victims tells me all that I need to know.

Most Americans don't know anything about Joachim Peiper, Malmedy or Oradour sur Glaine either. Most don't even know about Kathryn Johnston. That neither justifies nor excuses the acts or the actors.

Frankly, I don't know who any of these people are. And I didn't look them up because this isn't even vaguely on topic. It is something you are doing to turn a discussion about a film and the NRA into... something else.

I don't know what you're talking about, and that makes it really difficult for me to have an opinion about those things. And it makes it really hilarious that you don't like that opinion that I don't have.

While I agree that targeting guns so particularly was a political mistake, I think it is extremely simplistic to declare that Clinton lost due to one issue in any particular state. There simply is no data to support that assertion, and you could just as easily make a Catholic/abortion argument. I'm sure someone already has.
There's no question that there was more than one issue involved, but Clinton's unprecedented anti gun platform motivated a lot of people who wouldn't ordinarily have voted for Trump, or for that matter wouldn't have voted at all. You'd think after the beating the Democrats took in 1994 after the "assault weapon" ban that they'd realize that while gun control is popular in a few locations it just doesn't play in the free states.

I completely agree that it was a dumb move. I think nominating Clinton was the wrong move for the DNC.

Some people wear ignorance like a badge of honor.

Some people hide behind feigned ignorance like a shield.
Interesting new tact, but it still doesn't excuse your behavior or inability to stay even roughly on topic.

You realize that this is false?

The fact is that African Americans voted in similar numbers for Romney and Trump, but since fewer African Americans voted in 2016, the percentage of the total vote went from 6 to 8 percent. And latinos most definitely voted in greater numbers against Trump than Romney.

You are a prime example of lefties who live in a post-truth world. Your statements are false. Again. You are a liar.

"Donald Trump secured more Latino votes than Republican candidate Mitt Romney did in his 2012 presidential bid, reports show.

According to a CNN exit poll, Trump won 29 percent of the Latino vote, compared to Romney’s 27 percent in 2012. "

Your ignorance, real or feigned neither justifies nor excuses multiple murderers.

It doesn't matter whether ignorant oafs have never heard of Babi Yar. The Holocaust still happened.

It's a monotonously frequent occurrence for you to speak from ignorance, be corrected and whine about the correction. That's a well known pattern seen in the anti-gun cult.

Actually, her stance on gun control cost her the critical margin among blue-collar voters in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
And NC.

Clinton's margin of loss here was only about 10% of the number of gun-owning Democrats in this state, give or take. Or 10% of the number of "assault weapon" and over-10-round magazine owners in NC. Carpet-bombing gun owning Dems and independents as she did *definitely* hurt her here.

Quote where anyone justified or excused multiple murders.

"I don't know what you're talking about," means that I don't know what you're talking about, didn't comment on what you're talking about and can have no opinions on what you're talking about.

How is it that I'm in the wrong about something I don't know anything about and haven't said anything about?

Thats not THR nor do I personally think he's a 'liar'.

I took him to task on this already. In terms of percentage, you're right.

In terms of the actual number, we don't know because we don't have the raw data of actual # of voters.

RX's clear intend was to deceive and to present as "truth" his false claims that minorities and women did not in fact vote for Trump in greater numbers than they did for Romney. Were it but one example of such deceptive behavior, the response may not have been merited. However, RX has a proven track record of antagonistic and deceptive posting.

A "bash the NRA" thread on a firearms related website. Signs and wonders. Started out scorching a Hollyweird hit piece which WAS entertainment. Merry Christmas, If I'm allowed to say that. Joe
