That is great news. More states are joining the "Constitutional" carry freedoms. Why should we pay an elected official and attend a class approved by some politician?
We need gun owners in every state pushing for their 2nd Amendment rights.

One thing to beware of, reciprocity.
My permit is accepted in all adjoining states and a number of others.

How would I travel armed outside a "Constitutional Carry" home jurisdiction?
Alaska will still issue a permit which gets you into reciprocal states and counts as a background check for retail purchases. Do the others?

This is the third time it will have gone through the Senate & House of NH, the previous two times their Governor vetoed it. I see they now have a Governor that should support it so hopefully third time is a charm.

Jim Watson - they usually leave the permit system in place it is just optional. In Maine we have Constitutional Carry which I helped a lot with but I still keep my permit up for reciprocity with other States.

That's only one side of the coin. The other side is that the attorney generals of those other states now have Constitutional carry squarely on their plate of "things to do". They cannot ignore the matter. They either must accept the new, or deny the standing reciprocity. The later decision runs the risk of making voters in their own states mad.

This is a very good thing !!

Because the states are at liberty to enact regulatory measures with regard to the carrying of concealed firearms, reflecting the will of the people, measures that are perfectly Constitutional and consistent with the Second Amendment.

Carrying a concealed firearm in a state which requires a license to do so is likewise Constitutional carry.

What part of "shall not be infringed" don't you understand?

My home state continues to issue permits as do all others except Vermont. The Constitutional Carry is only for the citizens of a particular state and only in that jurisdiction.
I believe Oklahoma will accept the Drivers license of a Constitutional Carry state as proof? But I am not sure about that. The idea is to relax all of the archaic gun laws. All politics are local. We must start some where.:)

"All politics are local"?!?! Is that some kind of joke?

What I notice is that people claiming this purely a states issue, and that are living in pro 2A states, are a bit like the attachment.

What I also notice is that type of mentality also comes from that those that often say "Just move out of that state".

What I also notice is that those are also the 1st ones to claim 'All those people moving here from those anti 2A states are messing up our pro 2A state.".

All politics are local simply means the people you elect to office chooses your future. The people your states voters elect is first of all local. It all begins in your local voting booth.:uhoh:
