Some members here say good things about them. Reloader Fred likes them and if he likes them, they are good enough for me. I bought some and loaded some of my 9MM plinker loads with them. They shoot as well as the same load where I have used Fed, CCI, and Win primers with the same bullet and powder charge. If any primer was more accurate, I couldn't shoot the difference. It would take a real good test to prove it one way or the other.

I use them for my 9mm plinkers also. Have had a couple not fire on the first pull, but I think that may have been an issue with my firing pin being gummed up. Once I cleaned it, 4k later no problem. If powder valley carried em, I would order a bunch. So my trip to Cabelas I end up with a couple boxes if I can find them.

anyone have any feedback on these primers? Are they worth the savings? I have never used them before.

Ran through my first case of 5000 SPP, and halfway through the second. No issues, just a few ruined primers from trying to hurry and not pay attention.

They all go bang, and they all worked well with my various loads.

Speaking of primers. Powder Valley is showing Federal Gold Medal 205M small rifle match primers in stock. If you like their match primers (I do) then you better get them now because they're seen about as often as Hillary Clinton at a gun show

The small pistol work as well as any other primer in like use .... no problems at all ...they are flatter faced than say CCI ...but once you get used to that look ... all is good....

RMR is a great place to do business with. I always get the $3 no-hassle insurance. Even though they really wrap the boxes with plenty of tape, they are heavy and could burst with poor handling. Plus, I think it's worth the extra for such a good product from a great company. If for no other reason it could be considered a tip for good service.

Great vendor recommendation! RMR also, it turns out, carries 175-grain RNSP pulled bullets in .284, which may help solve a problem I've been having with my Ludwig Loewe m1916 7mm Mauser. (Waiting to hear back regarding suitability of these particular bullets for hunting feral hogs and whitetails).

"We heard you! The love for the RMR 115 FMJ was great but there were a lot of you asking for a heavier bullet. Well, we have the 124 FMJ machine up and running now. These are made on a whole new machine so that we don't have to compete with production between the 115 and the 124 FMJ. Though we could have saved a lot of money by just switching out a punch on the 115 machine, we decided our loyal customers were worth the investment"
