According to NFA tracker, they seem to be approving the last week of June electronic submissions now. Haven't seen any from July yet. However I am hoping soon.

Ryanxia, I got some waiting I put in on the 5th and 6th, when I get mine yours should be pretty close behind.

.

I think we are getting close to camming over the hump. I'm predicting much lower wait times in about 3 months.

That is great news. Where did you see this reported?

NFA tracker. I log in, select 'All Transfers', click on the 'approved' column twice. That way I can see when the latest reported as approved were submitted.

5 folks have reported approvals today so far, 3 from 7/2, one from 6/24 and one from 6/21. All of those efiled.

.

I just had two eFile Form 1's from 7/2 and 7/3 return approved on 3/27 and 3/28, respectively.

One of these days I'll get around to actually building them...

Gratz! I hear ya, I'm keeping an eye out for a form 1 e-file SBR I have even though I'm no where near ready to build it lol. Too many other projects.
My form 4 can, on the other hand, I'm all teed up for.

Imagine the hpa getting passed, the market will dry up for 2-3 years then, then there will be tons of surplus and prices will fall

The prices will fall on what's out there now but if HPA passes there would be TONS of new products. Almost every major gun manufacturer will have at least one or two integrally suppressed models. Basically eliminating two tax stamps since you can have a 'short' barrel with an integrated suppressor and be at 16"/18".

Well my vote last August was 10-12 months in this thread and I think I'll have hit it right on the nose. Day 282 for my form 1 e-file.. Slightly more than nfa tracker's 171 day tracking haha. But hey, can't rush these things, I mean my firearm will be much more dangerous when I replace one piece of plastic with another! :D

Got back from an unexpected trip overseas to find a stamp waiting for me in the inbox yesterday. Since my circadian rhythms are totally messed up right now it was just the thing I needed to unwind, putting the latest SBR together, LOL.

Submitted on July 5, approved on April 20. E-Filed Form 1 on a trust.

Spikes Crusader lower.
10.5 inch barrel
.223 Wylde chamber
Nickle Boron BCG
Aimpoint PRO
CMC drop in trigger (so yes the anti-walk pins are necessary)
MaTech rear BUIS

And some obnoxious Texas themed pins, dust cover, charging handle, etc. just because Texas!

So in fair disclosure, my vote was for 10-12 months and this stamp beat my guess in this poll by 2 weeks. However I am still waiting on a few others and bet that most that are closer to July 13 will fall into my initial choice of time frame.

Haha, we e-filed for the same lower, I did a Crusader lower as well. Wanted it to be unique, I don't ever see those around here. What did you use for the colored stenciling?

Yeah, unique, just like everyone else, LOL. Got another one or two stashed in case I want to me 'more' unique. Well it was a shot :)

If you want another one, let me know as I think my LGS has at least one more. Shoot me a PM and I will get you his contact information if you're interested.

As far as the coloring, it was all done by hand. I used Testors model paint and a needle. Just took a lot of time, but I am not dissatisfied with it. A exacta knife with a piece of painters tape on it helped wipe away any paint that got away from me. Was working with a mod here to get some engraving done, but that fell apart. May start checking around again and get the mag well engraved with something. Probably not like the factory engraving that was done on some, but a different phrase/poem.

Yours should be here this week right?

E-filed form 1 on Trust on July 8th so yeah hopefully soon. I finally got around to ordering parts for it that should be in this week so timing should work out well. I'll post pictures when I get it together, going for kind of a retro look on this one. The real question is do I get another one (paper file now) in the works? :D

Yes

This is getting stupid, the stamp I received on 4/21 was submitted the day before another one I am still waiting on. Over 3 weeks to get to the next days pile of form 1s?

Augghhhhh.....................I am glad they don't charge me every time I log into efile, LOL.

.

My buddy has his form 4 back for his suppressor on our trust a few days ago and got his form 1 sbr a few weeks ago, meanwhile the two form 1s i submitted at the same time still aren't approved yet... Go figure

I hear ya! Day 313 for me on my e-file form 1 and almost that long on a form 4 (not including the 8 weeks it took to get the form 3 approved to transfer it to my local gun shop to START the paperwork)..

Happy Stamp day everyone! Guess my complaining worked as Karma arrived today.

Jeez, 314 days for a Form 1 efile? That's recordbreakingly pathetic on the ATF's behalf. I have a new can headed to my dealer on a form 3 right now. I really hope things start speeding up by the time my form 4 gets submitted in a month or so.
