Just got this from Ruger earlier today - a 4 5/8-inch Biesly in .480 Ruger. Have not yet shot it, but will soon. Really like the configuration!

.480 Ruger can be a pretty stout and effective hunting round if you use the right bullet and powder combination.

Really nice! Although I have not actually owned one, if I were to pick a single action revolver this would be it. To me the Bisley grip configuration is about as good as it gets.

Very nice indeed! It's got great, clean lines and with that Bisley grip frame (and those sweet looking grips), it should be more than up to the task of handling the .480 Ruger.

Oh yeah! I've had one since 2001 and I've taken a truckload of game with a .480 in one iteration or another. It's a great round!

Nice acquisition Max. You keeping it stock or going for some customization? You don't hit me as a stock revolver kind of guy.

Thanks guys! Actually, with this one I'm thinking nice walnut grips and a good tune-up (it needs a 2-lb trigger) and a Bowen Target rear sight. But that'll basically be it.

Here's a better photo to ponder:
