It's a bit large for carry, but it looks like a great deal on a home defense handgun.

For $200, I don't know why anybody would even think about a Hi Point.

Interesting video ^.

I keep seeing the price on this gun drop drastically and you have to kind of wonder why.

When they first came out I think I remember seeing them around $400, maybe a little more. Today Impact has them for $269.

Another point to add, the RP9 is 9mm but the slide is much larger than necessary because it was built to handle 45ACP. Based on initial sales I doubt they are ever going to have a chance to come out with a 45ACP version.

weirdly i want one just cause. its big clunky awkward but something about it is pulling me. plus for the low price why would anyone still get a hi point with the worst trigger slap ever put in a firearm.

ill bet even with the possible function issues rp9 might have its trigger doesnt slap like a hi point does.

The Glockington fits medium sized palm very well I will say that. Not sure about accuracy or reliability because I only handled one at gun store.

The RP9 is the Chinese knockoff of a Transformer toy your step dad picked up for you, at the gas station , on his way home on Christmas Eve .
I might have to get one just for the hell of it.

I'm not much for U-Tube presentations. I like the written word. The Ruger American Pistol 9x19mm - AKA - RAP9, U-Tube reviews were not positive but rather noted substantial criticism. I had an opportunity to acquire one at an acceptable cost. I found it to be an excellent pistol with no failures to feed - fire & eject. Accuracy on par with my examples of the Glock Gen3 and S&W MP9. I don't know if the Remington is an excellent or awful pistol. I'll wait till I have opportunity of a hands on evaluation.

I handled one in the gun store the other day. Ergos and trigger pull were not bad, but there is no discernable trigger reset. No audible or tactile reset at all. It was weird.
