The High Road AR15 Picture Thread

Here are my two. Both are 'budget' guns, with the top one being my first - it started life as a basic ATI carbine kit from AIM Surplus combined with a Spike's Calico Jack lower - I just kept adding parts to it until it became the rifle in the photo - notables are the Samson Evo rail and the PA 4x prism optic.

The second is my recently-completed 'space DMR' rifle, with a 18" .223 Wylde upper, a Hera CQR stock and a PA 4-14x44 FFP scope:

All my pictures will be going away as I won't be held hostage by Photobucket at $400/year

So, in celebration of that ... if you ever get tired of AR's, try a CZ!

805_Bren_S1.jpg
805S1 Pistol/SBR with the US supplied AR mag well shown on the side but the "retro" (also known as the correct) magwell installed, with the factory clear mags ... I'm told that the HK G36 mags fit/work also ... now to find a Bushmaster ACR stock adapter!

I will wait for the 806

Red October

Nice collection of ARs! And nice gun room/work shop! You should send photos of it to GunnyUSMC as an inspiration to what his gun room might look like someday!

I got the 805 almost as soon as it came out, about 6 months after I had my stamp to SBR it CZ started saying they'll be releasing the 806 next year ... for at least two years now ... maybe 3
I thought about returning the stamp but decided I'd rather enjoy it now instead of waiting

The military production is ramping BREN 2s only now.

I suppose that those 805s on the civilian market are those that were made up to a year ago and which they need to get off the shelves before they start selling civilian BREN 2s. Last time I asked at the CZUB shop in Prague was in July and they told me they expect semi-auto BREN 2 on sale at around December, so I went and bought another AR 15 instead.

So if December is when you can hope to have a semi, I wonder how long it’ll take to get a semi that conforms to the US spec’s?

Well it is the same gun, just without the folding stock. I.e. pistol for you.

Are they selling 805 as a rifle in US already?

Also, I do believe it is subject to sale of the current stock of 805. Which may or may not be this December.

Yes, we've had the 805 semi in the states for quite a while, just over 3 years? I don't remember off hand and I'm not at home right now ...

OK just found this thread so I'll put mine up.

Bushmaster Carbon 15 with Magpul Furniture and a few doodads.

And my new completely CA Legal Fight Light SCR with PSA upper. It is not exactly an AR, but it is effectively an AR, and it runs so nice it is disgusting!!! All the firepower and functionality with none of the legal BS.
