Dear Santa ... I’ve been pretty good. Kinda.

If you can see your way clear, for skeet shooting I’d like to find a lovingly used Beretta Silver Pigeon Sporting 12 ga. 30" with a B-Fast comb under the tree.

If not, I understand. I am content to use my 40-year-old Remington 1100. Have a Merry Christmas!

Bernard (if you don't know who Bernard is you don't believe in Santa) sent me a email (hey, Santa always has been high-tech guy) sent me a email (which is why you should use email also. Quicker and more reliable the snail mail) advising me that (due to new FAA regulations) his shed was overweight this year so the big guy dropped my AR-15 off a month early.

I played Santa and expanded the .22 club this year.
............ Me too. Picked up a little Savage Rascal single shot youth .22 bolt gun which had a $50. rebate offer from Savage. It's not a gift but it will come in handy next spring for the younger of my two step grand daughters as it's scaled down so nicely for kids. It handles 22 short, long, and long rifle and has a nice little peep sight. Even has a nice Accutrigger that breaks cleanly at 2lbs., 11 oz. on a Lyman digital gauge. I'm gonna bring it along next time I go to the range and see how it does at 25 yards. Gonna look silly firing this little thing but us adults have to check these things out before the kids use 'em, right?. It's not going to get scoped but I was surprised to see that the receiver is drilled & tapped and Diversified Innovative Products actually makes a Weaver / Picatinny rail for these. IMG_0616.JPG

No.

I spent all the leisure budget for the year right after the inauguration picking up stuff from sellers who had stocked up in anticipation of a Hillary victory that were then strapped for cash.

I've asked for some reloading accessories, so we'll see what comes.

I sold some safe queens and bought a used CZ PCR (9mm pistol), a couple new .22s for range plinking/training (one rifle, one pistol), and a new Sub 2000 (9mm carbine). I also picked up the optional CZ 75 mag catch so I can run those mags in the Sub 2000
Good thing I had some guns to sell, seeing as we were informed this week that there would be no Christmas bonus this year! :( Although, the amount we had been getting has decreased over the past few years, so to be honest, it isn't a big difference...

Nah... we got tapped out on household things so I said I'm good with what I have. In the past few weeks the water heater died, tires were needed for the Sequoia, the Ford had a weeping rear seal that needed to be replaced, and we started paying on a cruise for the family in July.

Sigh, the cards are already put away.

Not yet. I'm on the hunt for one of the new Henry Single Shots, probably in .44 mag.

Santa already gave me a .300 BLK upper for my AR.

Then St Nick gave me a R1 Enhanced.

I must have been good this year!

I got 2 new guns and a couple of cheap red dots. I got my new to me Marlin 1894 .357 lever last week froma friend, and on Tuesday, I picked up my Freedom Ordinance Fx-9 9mm "AR" pistol.
Now I have to decide what red/green dot to put on it.

I picked up my FX 9 pistol on Monday. It came with the pop up sights, 3 Extra 32 rd mags, front swivel and sling and a real nice carrying case. Hope to get it to the range this Saturday.

Yes and no. I've had a habit of buying a rifle approximately every other year a few weeks into the hunting season, leaving it untouched until Christmas and thinking of it as a present to myself. It only happens when I come across something I really want. I used to give all kinds of guns to my family members for Christmas, birthday etc. before the legislation went to $#!% back in 2011, nowadays that happens more informally by unloading my own inventory.

If you are getting a firearm, what will it be,a rifle, shotgun, revolver or semi auto? :):D
An earlier thread about the Gunbroker new look prompted me to browse a little. Found a new Browning Buckmark Camper total out the door price including tax, title, license dealer prep, options and shipping for $305. There's a Browning promo with a $75 rebate 'til Dec. 31, so actual money invested is $230. I'm satisfied with that.

I played Santa to myself. ;) Cheapest way to put a new Colt under my tree was to buy a complete lower from Brownells. Great deal.
