There may be few here that see the value of opening your gun safe with a phone. But, for those that do, be aware there are security issues with this one:
The company downplayed the ease with which one could implement the threat. But researchers disagreed, stating it is an hour, at most, of work.
I'd imagine the "perp" would be your curious teenager or perhaps a TSA employee. Too techie for most thieves to bother with.
Disable "bluetooth" if you have one and are concerned about the security flaw.
