Anyone else notice g26 recoils less than g19?

Went to range for the first time in like 9 months today. I fired all the loaded mags i had full of hollowpoints for the g19(gen4) that had been sitting loaded that whole time, some for several years. They all functioned perfectly. Thing is is i noticed after a while it seemed to be rattling my hand/finger a bit...i have never noticed this from any 9mm before. Previously i owned a g26 and it just seemed to have less perceived recoil...i put thousands of every kind of round thru it and it never caused an ounce of discomfort. Even shot it and the g19 on the same range trip lots of times and thought i noticed this too, just not to this extent.
Also as a reference, i fired lots of rounds of 230g +p .45 thru my new Shield .45 and bascially felt no sharper than the g19.

Is it just me, or is the g26 a softer shooter than the g19?

I have never compared recoil, but I do shoot my G26 better than I do my G17.

I do not find my 26 recoils lighter than my 19 or 17.

Split times indicate the opposite for me.

The hump on the 26 probably fits I to your palm better than the hump on the 19/17.

This will help with felt recoil.

Newtonian physics tells us it will recoil a bit more than the 19/17.

The laws of physics are strictly enforced. The lighter gun will recoil more assuming the same loads. But how you feel the recoil can change depending on how each gun fits you.

Not fair to compare unless back to back. I think my 34 is softer than a 26 but never fired them back to back thinking about that.

If important I can test all the 9mm glocks, between the guys I shoot with I could do them all back to back same ammo and all. Could have 3 or 4 shooters compare notes.

Its just you. The Baby Glock shoots great, for sure, way above its class. But to say it recoils less…..No way. With the two finger grip it rolls more in my hand.

I do think I shoot the 26 better than a 19 up close. When you start to get some distance the short sight radius comes into play.

Anyone else notice g26 recoils less than g19?
