A 1911. If a man owns a pistol, and it isn't a 1911, that is acceptable. If a man owns 2 pistols, and neither is a 1911, that is un-American.

I'm sure you will find something. I manage to pretty regularly.

I'll make one recommendation. If you are a dove and quail hunter get a 20 ga. over and under shot gun. You will never carry a 12 ga. anything when hunting them again.

If you have to ask... you probably don't need anything. You know your needs and wants better than anybody here.


Just keep hitting shops and shows looking for deals. Something will eventually catch your eye.

Need? Looks like you got it pretty covered.
Now Wants? Thats entirely up to you and your tastes.
But if I had to answer I'd say a revolver in 45 colt or 44 spcl

I find them like candy. Once you have one you want more. And with so many possibilities in calibers seems like you have lots of options to add to your collection if that's your goal.

Personally, I think you need to decide what you want and what you need? If all of your needs are met then what do you want? If not, then fill in the needs.

Maybe try putting together another AR from parts. It's a lot of fun and you can get parts as your budget allows or you have the urge.

Need? Nothin, you got your bases covered.

Want? I could see a 20 ga for small game. I almost never use my 12 ga anymore since I got a 20 ga over/under.
And like someone mentioned, every American should have a 1911.
I don't know if all your .22's are rifles or not, but my .22 pistols are my most shot guns by far.

Looks like you are pretty well covered. Maybe another AR? Is one of your 9mm pistols a good concealed piece? If not, I would advise a S&W shield 9.

I believe in "3 is 2, 2 is 1 and One is None."

You definitely need another AR though it needs to be chambered in 5.56 or 5.56 Wylde so you can shoot military ammo.

I think these folks have said it all; your basics are covered, now it's down to "What do I WANT?"

I'd say something in .45 ACP and something in .30-06.

I'm not that big on 1911s, although I own one. I would recommend a Glock 30, which I rather enjoy shooting.

As far as the .30-06, I'd get an M1 Garand (and I own two of those).

An M1 Garand, 1903 Springfield, or M1 carbine. Preferably one of each......

A pre-lock S&W.

An AK.

Silencers.

I'm not a fan of the .45 ACP (sacrilege, I know). I second the .44 magnum revolver.

... and reloading gear.

Someday, someday, I plan on becoming an American.

I don't own a 1911, but I know that someday I'm going to need something that is cocked and locked.
