I would like to get your opinions on the most reliable and reputable place to buy a semi Automatic.

I know that I would have to have it shipped to a legitimate FFL in my state.

Looking for a website. I do not want an auction ( I think) since I think that they would sell me a previously owned pistol.

I like Tombstone Tactical, Gunbuyer.com, GrabaGun.com. Good prices, free or low shipping, can't go wrong.

I have had good dealings with sportsmansoutdoorsuperstore.com
Good prices, fast free shipping, although their selection may not be as good as others.

I have had good experience with Bud's and Gunbroker. When buying from Gunbroker I always make sure the seller has a high rating.

I gather that Gunbroker is a collection point from several different guys selling their stuff. Are they usually wholesalers or individuals?

Will these sellers usually suggest a local FFL to you or must you find one yourself?

You guys are the best.

I’ve bought from several of them. What are you looking for? See who has the best price and then look at reviews of them.

Gunbroker is kind of similar to ebay, except money/payment transactions are completely between the buyer and seller, none of that integrated paypal type deal. Anybody can sell on Gunbroker, though there are a lot of regular retailers/FFL's that sell stuff there as well as on their own sites and/or at their own stores. Just like ebay there are big time sellers on Gunbroker with a whole bunch of feedback (that are FFL holders) and you can be sure you are getting exactly what they describe (as surely as you can with anything you order from anywhere, at least)

Shipping is always expensive on Gunbroker, like $30. Many sites have free or cheap shipping.

I've paid more than $30 for shipping on gunbroker... it sucks, but sometimes you can find low shipping options like $10 or $15. Buying anything that's new off gunbroker is a waste of money though because of those high shipping charges. I view the shipping like it's paying sales tax if bought locally.

I mostly buy used guns, older guns, or hard to find ones from gunbroker. I've scored some deals, bought some cool guns I never would have found locally or for the price I paid for them. All in all I'm pleased that the website exists, without it... I wouldn't have quite a few guns I have now.

I've never used them, but I've been intrigued by Davidson's Gallery of Guns, because while you order from Davidson's you end up dealing with a local gun shop.

I've used Davidson's, and it worked out very well. The store had the gun the day after I ordered it. Saved about a hundred bucks off what the going local prices were. It's a great choice if you already know what you want.

I have purchased a bunch of guns from Davidson's Gallery Of Guns and have had nothing but good experiences.

Over the years two of the guns I purchased from Davidson’s were defective and Davidson's replaced both immediately, no questions asked.

I am looking for a CZ 75 (9mm) or at least a CZ 9mm. Still debating full size or smaller it will not be a carry.

GB is an auction. Some sellers also offer guns at a regular price (no bidding). These can be individuals or store front dealers. You can check if there is an FFL in your area.

I have bought through Bud, J & G Sales, and Grabagun. All purchases went flawless.

From what I understand about Davidson's, is that they guarantee the purchase for life. Is that correct?

I have had good experiences with Bud's. I have bought more from Gunbroker. I only buy from GB sellers who have sold hundreds (or thousands) of guns and have a good rating.

I've used them a few times.

I really can't complain about anything. They may not be the cheapest but you LGS makes a little off the sale too and just the transfer. That's important to me.

They do have a life time guarantee that I've never had to test but I've read justa cpl time of others having to and didn't seem to have any problems.

The only site I have used so far was CDNN and it was a great experience. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Just from my own research the other two that I would not at all be concerned using would be Buds and Impact.

I use GunBroker and recently bought (but have not yet received as it’s a preordered not yet released rifle) from Whittaker’s.

I typically buy from Osage County Guns if they have what I want on Gunbroker.

I guess shipping might cost more than other sites, but I am Saving a ton of money already relative to my LGS prices that I probably use Gunbroker more out of being too lazy to price compare once I find a gun I want and it’s a website I am used to and they ship to a great low price transfer FFL near me. I am sure other shops would do the same thing if I dealt with setting it up.
