Any CZ-75 Compact/PCR fans here?

Nice carry piece. Love the holster. What holster is that?

I'm a fan of anything CZ so far. RAMI or PCR either one feel great in the hand. My 75b is the perfect grip for my hand and the Shadow and p-07 are fantastic too. All I've shot have shot better than I can.

I haven't even held a P10C yet so I can't speak for them.

That holster is fine! Carry it! You've got jacket weather for a little while yet (assuming you live someplace "normal"). If not... winter will come around soon enough. I carry mine outside the waistband, but inside my belt, if that makes sense. I feel like it holds it in a little tighter/better.

The PCR is one of my primary carry guns, and I'm carrying it now. The only changes I made to it were swapping the sights for Tru Glo TFX sights and I installed the Ultra Lite kit from Cajun Gun Works. It smoothed out and lightened the trigger, with a trigger pull of 8 lbs in DA and a little over 4 in SA. It's as accurate and reliable as anything I own. If I were forced to choose only one handgun to keep (fortunately I'm not), it would be this one.

I just discovered the CZ lineup and am impatiently waiting on my PCR to come in. I had heard the name before but I never really paid much attention to them since it wasn't really a household name. I can see a Shadow 2 in my future after I have the PCR for a while.

Wow... larryh1108 and I have a very similar stockpile in our safe... Browning, Kahr, and even a Solo. I have to say, that the PCR is EVERY bit as reliable (since it's been 100% since new!) as any of them, and as much a pleasure to shoot as the Hi-Power. I think the ONLY thing that's not perfect about the PCR is the sights (they're kinda small), and I fixed that. Add the trigger work that I had done, and it feels like a small, compact, competition pistol! I really do like mine. With the steel frame, I think the PCR could be more carry-friendly, but it's still ok (I almost always carry the Kahr CM9 or the Kimber Solo). There's something about the PCR that fits my hand just perfectly. Better than most all other pistols... except I think my FN (FNX9) is maybe almost as comfortable for me.

Yes, but only have a few months of frequent handgun practice.

Own a used PO1 and last week a "like new" Compact PCR-so new that racking the slide requires more strength than about any other handgun I've owned or tried.
The much stouter PCR recoil spring makes me feel like a Girly-Man!

I bought my PCR new in 2000 not very long after they were introduced. I've been shooting, and carrying it ever since. Fantastic pistol, accurate, and reliable, just like all my other CZ pistols.

I also share some commonality with you in our choices of 9mm.s (CZ P01, Browning Hi-Power, and Kahr CM9). Love the grips on your PCR; have to get them for my P01!

I'm a fan here, and another who only changed the sights.
If you need a new holster, I always point out FIST Inc. Unlike people that end up with a box of holsters, I took a chance on their Close-Cropped IWB and never needed another.
I appreciate the advice, but I am a holster maker myself - Anderson Custom Leather. I've done some work for others here on the forum. You can find me on Instagram.

I've only ever shot one CZ. I think it was a 75 Compact? In any event, it made a favorable enough impression that there's most definitely one on My Want List.

The guy who sold me the Sig P225 today offered to buy my used PO1 on the spot for $300, as the gun's DA trigger is a good bit lighter than on brand-new Compacts.

It's seems odd how the name "CZ" is so unknown to so many seasoned handgun shooters, at least near Memphis. Maybe they recognize it if reading the written letters, but hearing the name it doesn't register?
But when you let them shoot the gun, the look on their face immed. changes.

I'm not a great fan of decockers, so I've never been all that interested in the P-01 or PCR, but did like the fact that they were lighter than the Compact model (which has a steel frame and a safety.) I think I prefer the P-07 to the metal-framed models, and a Cajunized P-07 might be my choice in the future, if I ever think I want to improve the one I've got. The compact CZs are a bit like the Glock 19 in that they seem to do a good job of giving you full-size performance in a smaller package without leaving you with a too-small magazine.

(I also have a Sphinx SDP, and while its a bit better than the P-07, they're both great guns.)

CZ is becoming more well known I have bought three in the last year. Love them no more polymer for me. I have a CZ 75B .40 on the way to CGW and a PCR waiting to go.
