Post a picture of your three finest shooting autoloaders if you have three you feel good about. Not your most expensive ones necessary. Not the ones you think are prettiest.

The ones that just work for you and you enjoy shooting most are what we want to see.

My best is this, my Beretta/Wilson Combat 92 Brigadier Tactical. It's a really smooth running machine and it had a trigger job at the Wilson plant. It's the finest DA/SA trigger I have. The reset is short and the trigger breaks very cleanly. I've put this gun in the hands of brand new shooters and watched them bullseye a target on the first magazine. It just shoots.

The runner up is my little old S&W E Series 1911. For just an entry level 1911 it is a tack driver. I like the trigger but it would probably be considered an abomination by a 1911 aficionado.

And finally, my plastic soulless VP9 is a great shooter. The bullets seem to just go through the same hole over and over. It's never bobbled or had a hiccup. I don't have a good picture, but it's just a VP9.

This is a good old fashioned "I love these guns." thread. Nothing but love in this thread. No bashing.

What're your best shooters?

I tend to try to make them all shoot jess fine but some seem to need less work than others.

First probably my Sig P230. It has never found a round it would not load and shoot and always groups the holes neatly.

Next is likely my East German Makarov. Again, it is simply a rugged functional tool like a hammer. It has a different set of thumb rest grips on it now.

Third has to be a couple pistols, a STAR UltarStar and a Browning BDM. There's a Monson made Dan Wesson Pointman/Patriot Experimental 1911 that is also close but that can be magazine picky at times. It's like the song "There is a little girl, with a little curl, right in the middle of her forehead ..."; when it is good it is very very good but when it is bad it is horrid.

My three favs:

1) Colt Combat Commander, part of a limited run made by Colt's Custom Shop back in the late '70s. Totally reliable, extremely accurate (think Gold Cup but without being too finicky about ammo), and very nice to look at with that bright nickel finish.

2) Browning Hi Power Mk.II, bought new when they first came out. Gone were the tiny little sights, heavy trigger pull, and difficult safety of a previous T Series model I had. With easy to see sights, a very decent trigger (without removing the mag safety), and a nice ambi safety, this gun is my all-time favorite 9mm. Not much for fancy looks but brother can she shoot!

3) Beretta Model 70S/Ruger Mk.II Target

I have a tie for Number Three. While the Ruger is one of the most accurate .22s I have shot, the Beretta overall is one of the finest shooting pistols I (and everyone who has ever used it), have ever had the pleasure of owning. It's very compact, ergonomic, lightweight, incredibly reliable, and just one of the niftiest pistols out there!

My first two are easy, my VBob and Glock 19X (yes I know, but Glocks just fit me). Number 3? Hmm. I've only got one range day in but I predict once I get the trigger fully down my new 226 Legion will make the cut.

I think I've got pictures in here somewhere

Steyr S40A1
HK VP9SK
Glock 26

All are pretty much all OEM. The Glock has an Apex trigger and Truglo sights. The Steyr has big dot sights. All are more accurate than I.
If this post is useless without pictures than just live with that bit of uselessness.

My favorites are my Glock 19X and my Remington RM380.

The Glock because it’s awesome

The Remington because it has never let me down. It eats everything I feed it. It has never had a failure in a thousand rounds of firing. It’s light to carry but not too light for recoil.

Out of all the auto loaders I have owned and fired these are my hands down favorites. If I still had my Glock 34 it would be on here too. I will have another one soon.

All my 1911s are excellent in every way. Arguably, my 3 favorite are

As previously stated, all mine are very gtg in all aspects. Years ago I sent (at their request) one of my 5" Rocks in for a small issue. They took care of it and gave me a "courtesy" tune up. Whatever they did who knows but, it's literally like a laser. Whenever they moved the roll mark to the rear is when I purchased it and then shipped for repair.

Shimitup

Like the Randall! Have only seen a couple over the years at local gun shows. The ones I did come across appeared to be very well put together.

Thanks bannockburn. It's real workhorse, goes to the range often. Right after I bought it I took out the full length guide rod and put in a Wilson trigger and the Pachmayr arched mainspring housing. If you notice the rib on top it's the flat top combat model A121 (I think) BTW your nickel Colt is a real beauty thanks for posting the photo.

My favorites are my Glock 19X...

My favorite is what I’m practicing the most with at any given time. I got my 19x this past June, and I have 1,200 rounds through it so far without any hiccups. I think it’s probably the best Glock I own, and definitly one of my favorites.

Top of the list Springfield Range Officer 5” 9mm, Astra A-100 9mm , and closely followed by my Glock 17L. I don’t shoot the Astra much, buy it is amazingly accurate, right on par with the Range Officer.
