hi, win released this powder a little bit ago. went to loaddata.com for
45acp loads. not much there. and Win. site has even less.

anyone know of any data for 45acp using either 200gr swc or 230gr fmj?

even your own if you dont mind sharing.

thnx.!

yeah, that`s the site i meant not the win. site.
just thought there might be more somewhere else. thnx!

What more do you need. Hodgdon does pressure testing so it's safe data. It's new enough that none of the commercial loading manuals will have data yet.

If you have a specific request and the data isn't on the Hodgdon site you can write them. Sometimes they have data they don't post because of space restrictions but they are willing to send it to you.

Are you looking for something specific?

October, 2018, issue of "Rifle's Handloader" magazine has an article on Winchester 244 in the "Propellent Profiles" column.

yeah i subscribe handloader too. thats why i was interested in the powder. i didnt know this was out til that article.
sounds promising with just a tad faster burn rate than win 231. between 231 & titegroup...thats all i use for my 1911`s.

the "winclean" as it were, might have an extra bonus. i know the CFE powder i use does fight the copper.

thank you ! was able to get a pound of this from Recob Target w/ only 13.99 UPS shipping.
NO HAZMAT! ...unless that 13.99 is the hazmat fee. but everywhere else i tried to get online
they wanted close to $20 +/- for hazmat and a shipping charge. the powder itself was $22

So you only bought one pound of powder and paid 36 bucks for it? You didn't buy anything else?

didnt really need any thing else, hazmat wise. got thousands n thousands of primers for all my calibers.
and i have all the other powders i need and use by the lbs. just wanted to try the 244 and was not going to buy 4 or more lbs
if i didnt like it. iknow it sounds stupid but i`d rather spend that much than travel 50 or so miles to find some.
