My AR Family photo

I was asked to post an updated family photo of my growing AR collection. Well a couple were out on adventures, but finely made it home. Then there was the task of a large enough backdrop to set them on. Yesterday I finished the backdrop just as the rain started to fall.
Today I rounded up all the ARs and found that my backdrop was a little on the small size, but I managed to squeeze them in. So here’s my AR family photo.

If there are any that anyone would like a close up of, I’ll be more then happy to add some more pics.

It’s a good thing you have family because if you dropped dead and the state had to clean out your house it would be all over the Internet about the “crazy doomsday prepper gun nut” that had 1000 guns in his house

I appreciate your efforts, Gunny!

Now I can show my wife that picture and completely debunk her claims that I have "enough" guns. Especially of the Tinker Toy variety.

Are you talking about the one with the Zombie cammo? That one is Isaac’s, my youngest son. We built it together three years ago just before Christmas. He was at my buddy’s shop with me a few months after we had built it. He spotted the Matrix Zombie furniture set and asked if he could get it. I told him to ask how much it was. My buddy sold it to him for $30. When we got home we put it on his gun.

There’s a .277 Wolverine, one 458 SOCOM and two 9mms, the rest are 556 or 223 Wylde.

Gunny, thanks for taking the time to post this.

I am with Jeff B. I am going to show my wife. I know exactly what she’ll say “Well, you’re not Gunny, are you?” I will respond with “Nope, but everyone needs inspiration.”

I like that red one. I am moving to California soon. I have owned 4 AR’s (yes, only 4) and I am building one that will be California compliant. I plan to Cerakote that sucker to look like a Flash Gordon toy pistol from 1952. It won’t be evil at all.

That is one way to look at it. Another would be to use it as inspiration. "But honey, Gunny has...."
