Im Charles (Charlie) & joined a few weeks ago. Posted request for information on loads for my pistols & received a great response. Im strictly a target shooter (stopped enjoying the killing part of hunting a few years ago) but have no objection to using my firearm if my life is endangered. I was born in a country that turned commie & I hate the bastards. Im doing everything I can to keep my country (USA) from ending up the same way.

I'm a newbie, and a lady newbie from Texas at that. I've recently acquired a revolver to get the kids used to shooting cuz they said they were intimidated by semi-autos.

I've been using this forum to acquaint myself with basic revolver knowledge. I've got years of familiarity with the M16 and a Glock 17, so you know my past jobs. However, this is only the second revolver I've ever shot and first owned. I shot a Taurus 38 special 4" barrel for class in Arizona years ago, and it was such a joy to shoot. I special ordered an SP101 shortly thereafter, but then got sent overseas so I canceled the order. Ever since then it's only been semi autos in my small hands. So you guys have been crucial to my education and I thank y'all. Well you and Paul Harrell, lol.

Long time lurker now a member. Daytona Beach Florida. I’m a long time shooter used to do IDPA now planning on shooting steel events for fun.
A small collection of pistols and AR in various calibers. It’s fun building up AR with the components you choose. Non political I just like guns cars and motorcycles.

Welcome aboard!

I have a special level of interest in the weapons of the "Soviet Era" in general. Their sturdy, simplistic nature makes them
a great choice still.

Hi- I'm Cliff,

I reactivated my account. Now that I'm fully retired I have more time to enjoy this forum. I am also not a hunter and
it's never been "my thing" per say. I am also a huge pro- America & anti Socialist/Communist guy. My wifes people are
from North & East Europe and lived there under the Soviet's rule,

Did a lot of THR site drive-by's over the years looking for specific info relevant to what I was interested in at the time. Decided to come out of the shadows, join up and become respectable. Reload extensively and target shoot (informally) quite a bit. Mostly straight walled pistol calibers. Fixated on lever actions and revolvers but dabble in the other areas (especially percussion BP rifles).

Hi, finally found a good gun forum to keep up with.
I’m a avid AR15 shooter first and handguns second.
Hope to receive and give some helpful participation

Welcome! Glad to have you, this is a great site that has some great members with lots of knowledge to glean from.

Welcome aboard. I think you will find this site very informative and entertaining. You will also find out quickly why we are called The High Road. It makes it a great place to be.

Howdy, my name is Sam and I'm from NE Kansas. I've got a large collection, most of which I inherited from my grandpa. I've got mostly pistols and rifles, with about 10% of the collection being shotguns. My oldest gun is an early 1880s 1873 Winchester 32-20 and newest is a Remington 700 sps 308.

I'm also a novice, but long time reloader and an apprentice (not active) machinist. I have recently got back into hunting a bit as well.

Main reason for joining was to get some info on some firearms I own, and will be posting about them individually.

Looking forward to browsing the forums!
