Went out yesterday with a couple buddies. We shot a resetting target, glass bottles (in a burn pile), an AR500 steel plate, and a couple binary targets. Had a good 3 hours of blasting.

My buddy brought an ar15 and a ZIG 1911 .45. The ZIG is a cheap gun, but its accurate. It functioned great with some steel case ammo, but had a few FTE with Remington brass cased ammo.

I brought my 1957 Romanian SKS, NEF handi-rifle in 22 hornet, Sig p320 DU 9mm, Interarms Virginia Dragoon 44mag, and the JRC 500 SW mag (serial number 0025!) The DU gun was won at a banquet. Sks was bought at a gun show about 15 years ago for 175. It shoots straight as an arrow. All numbers matching. I've put over 5000 rounds through it.

Mods: If there's a thread for this already, just merge it.

Yesterday I tested and chrono'd some .300 Blackout loads. Then I ran some plate drills and some FtS with my Baer 1911. Next IDPA match some of us are setting our 9mms aside and going "big bore" for the match, so I've got to get back into the 1911. Today I'm probably going to step out and run a couple drills with my 9mm PCC.

Big benefit of a private range, I don't carry a bunch of stuff to and fro, and a range trip may only be 20-30 minutes depending on what I'm working on.

Not a darn thing. I was thinking about going to go to the range this afternoon. That is, until my wife reminded me of a holiday get together with friends this afternoon. Enjoyed it, and glad we went. Real nice folks, and plenty of good food and Beveridge;)

Not a thing. I did bring my P-365 and ammo, but ended up just working and not playing any. I really meant to set up my big steel silhouette and do some fast up close practice, but didn't do it.

Nothing today it has been raining. Yesterday about 75 rounds of 7mm-08 working on a new high power Silhouette match rifle. Also 50 rounds of 357 mag in a marlin 1894 cb testing a new powder.

Yesterday, I took my Gold Cup and 100 hand loaded rounds to my preferred indoor range. I'd rather go there than my club's range because it's on paved roads rather than gravel, half the time and distance from home, and I have my own lane with a motorized target holder rather than negotiate with other shooters for access to my targets. The indoor range is a year old and has a strong ventilation system that blows fresh air from the shooting bench and exhausts at the backstop.

Nothing.
Thanks for reminding me LOL
Did swing by LGS.....indoor range........was packed, with folks waiting.
