Nice looking and appears to be in great shape. Not one of the earliest ones since the sights are not SS. A good score for sure!

Very Sweet gun. You should have a ball sending lead downrange with that one. Most of the 67's I've run across for some reason seem to have heavier da and sa trigger pulls. That is easily fixed with a reduced power mainspring and a lighter rebound spring. I always go with the 14lb rebound. Congrats on a great find

Nothing wrong with the blue sights. The SS front and rear are just something the "collector" in all of us likes, but the blue is actually more functional.

I had a 67 at one time, but now the only Combat Masterpiece I have is a 1966, Model 15-2. Great shooter.

I agree 100% I have several Model 66's one being a close to mint early run with the ss sights. Very Pretty and supposedly the ss sights are worth more money but you might as well leave the gun at home on a real sunny day. I know a guy who at one time had about 15-20 sets of the ss rear sights he got from a Police Dept Armorer who swapped out the rear sights for all
of the officers who got the early guns. They couldn't see them well enough to qualify on a sunny day! He was swapping them out on any no dash 66 he would run across and sell them at gun shows for I guess what was an upgrade.

I had a 67 as my first issued sidearm, the older style, with the hammer-mounted firing pin.

I shot very well with it, besting the scores of 34 of the 41 other recruits in my academy class (I don't know how many of the others, if any, were using the same model, as many different agencies were represented, but mine only by me.)

Very nice revolver indeed.
