In this situation a flashbang grenade and a high cap 45 might be your best bet!

What's funny is this new cartridge is reusing the marketing for 458 socom. Yeah, it is a little bit bigger, and it flies a little faster, but its the same story. Wonder how much recoil it has...

Couple calcs spit back something over 50ft-lbs in a 10lb gun. Factor in the brakes those have on them, and its probably not prohibitive.

My .375 delivers 50ish, and is about all i wanna deal with.

I honestly think its a neat cartridge Were I inclined, and well enough funded to even consider it, Id just buy a pile of reloading components when I ordered my rifle.

Yeah there is no way I'd be buying factory ammo for that thumper... 50 lbs is a bit of recoil, but with the break probably not too bad. Still, a bit too much of a good thing unless you really want to hunt elephants with an ar-10...

True, and if im gonna kill something like an elephant it will be with a classier firearm, but thats just me.
Im sure there will be at least a couple guys who have to have these for their man caves, or range days with "friends".

I....might actually know a guy who would want one.

I'm thinking they pricing them selves out of the market.

Id agree, except its a very specialty item.
The simple fact that its expensive, will appeal to some of the folks who would be interested in it.
I dont know any of those guys as gun buddies, but some of my car friends were/are exactly like that. Big, limited availability, and expensive, trips their triggers.

Too proprietary for me,it will go away like the Nosler caliber offerings. Unless you have a ton of extra disposable income.

And even then they’ll disappear.

I am soooo glad I resisted a trade with a friend of mine; my CMP M1Garand with the finish in good shape and Boyd’s aftermarket wood, for a Lazzeroni 8.59 Titan, Swarovski glass and ammo.

I haven’t seen Lazzeroni stuff in ages, I can’t imagine what it would cost to feed it now.

I’ll stick to less proprietary stuff myself.

Stay safe!
