Rather than start a new P365 love-fest thread, I will just tag along in this one and say that the P365 may have become my new favorite concealed-carry pistol. Just a tiny little chunk of awesomeness.

Comparison with a P938, my other favorite baby SIG, and a most worthy pistola in its own right.

Side by side view of top of both slides, 938 on left, 365 on right. Then compared with 12+1 version of M&P compact.

Do you favor theP365 over the P938, or are they different enough you like them both for what they are?

Old Dog, slight thread hijack...that leather OWB holster — is that for your P365 or perhaps your P938? Curious if you or others have found an OWB holster that’s perfect for the 365? As to leather, Sig is now selling the Mitch Rosen OWB that looks pretty nice, though I’d buy it from someone (Rosen direct or Dillon perhaps) who seem to be carrying it without the Sig logo embossed into it...

As to Kydex OWB, I like the Detroit Holster OWB I have for my CZ 75B Compact with clips that allow you to remove it without taking off your belt..any thoughts on Kydex?

Thanks,

Commo

The one pictured is actually for the P938, but Kramer makes the horsehide Belt Scabbard for the P365 ... right now, all I've got my 365 is a Blade-Tec Kydex rig.

Kramer is my go-to holster for all carry guns -- the durability of Kydex with the class of great leather. I've got a Mitch Rosen for my P-320, and it's great, but I prefer Kramer's horsehide -- just as light, but thicker and lasts longer (I have a Belt Scabbard for the Glock 19 that I bought in 1994 and it still looks almost new).

Tough question as I'm an ol' 1911 dinosaur and have gotten pretty good with the 938. But, man, I enjoy them both. I've been carrying the 938 for a year now, but since I picked up the 365, I may favor it for regular carry due to the increased capacity, and the fact that it's got such a great, consistent trigger pull, almost 1911ish in nature. Plus, it simply feels great in the hand.

I rented a P365 today and shot 50 rounds through it using the 10 round magazine.

Holy smokes, I’m impressed. @Walkalong your assertion that it shoots like a bigger gun was spot on.

The back corner of the magazine did dig into my hand a bit, but for a pocket rocket it was more comfortable than I expected, and it’s not meant to be a range gun.

I still prefer the feel of the ZP938 more, but nobody says I can’t buy both. And I think I will.

Shot 60 rounds through it today. I like to practice with carry guns without glasses (1.25x readers), because I can't be sure I will have them on, or even have them with me. I took them off and left them on the barrel while shooting. That is one thing I like so much about the P-365, I can shoot it very well without readers. I see those sights without glasses much better than the sights on my Kimber Ultra.

Well, today I had the sun in my eyes so the sights were worthless. I did all point shooting. I point shoot the Kimber well, but PS the P-365 even better. I shot at a coke can on the berm at 10+ yards. 63 9MM & 16 .45 rounds. Bounced it around a lot and hit it a few times. Did all the shooting with the 10 round mag. The only "failure" was not locking back on of mag of the 95 Gr JHPs shooting one handed. It has done this occasionally shooting one handed, but is an idiosyncrasy I am willing to live with considering all the upside for me.

Still loving my P-365, bad press and all. :)

Excellent idea. Only time I've done that is when I've accidentally left my shooting readers at home.
