Guns in Fediverse

Does anyone know of any good posters in Fediverse? It is sometimes known as "Mastodon", because Mastodon is the dominant implementation by some metrics. But basically anything federating with OStatus or ActivityPub is relevant to my interests.

Something like this is what I'm looking for:

The problem is, the discoverability at Fediverse isn't all that great. It's basically at the level of Twitter in 2009. And it's not going to improve, I suspect, because the system is distributed. It is generally not indexed by search engines, at least not in a productive way. In fact, instances generally do not have a search of content even for local posts. So I cannot go to a large central instance and search for "glock", then use the results to seed a further examination.

The legacy centralized social media had gun-related content very early on. GAB did too. So I'm sure Fedi has to have some even today.

It is a pretty funny article. The author has missed the whole point: the strength of the distributed system is precisely in bypassing the blocks that the developer for one of implementations (such as Mastodon) want to place in the way. But you have to be smarter than a journalist to understand it.

One ironic thing is though, the article that Scooter22 linked was published in March 2017, and in April 2017 the Japanese explosion happened in Mastodon. Here's a link - if you have the time, it's a bit longish with all the historic narrative:

For the record, my instance - linked at the top of the discussion - does not run Mastodon: it's on Pleroma, which requires fewer resources, so I pay less for the hosting.

Honestly, since Pleroma was declared "Nazi software" by the SJWs at leading Mastodon instances, I had concerns that I would not be able to federate with mainstream Fediverse. But it didn't happen. Or, rather, I haven't suffered from it -- I am not subscribed to anyone there. Of course that may change if someone posts some good pointers to this thread.
