I guess I could also have my 4014 converted.
Back when Bob Serva still owned Dan Wesson, he built this CCO 10mm in the Razorback configuration for me.. As far as I know, it's the only one in existence. You can tell it's been carried a lot of miles.
I suspect Dan Wesson or Fusion Arms would build something you would like.

That's the exact model I'm hoping to purchase myself for father's day.
You could always buy one in a different caliber, then enjoy tracking down a conversion caliber upper in 10mm (the frames imported into the U.S. are all the same). Might be a little easier... I've never looked for a compact slide conversion.
On the OP's post, I'm a big fan of 10mm Witnesses. I own more than one. I've never shot one in the compact format, though. I'm also not a Glock fan (don't own one, don't plan to), but I've been shocked the few times I've shot a G29 at how tolerable the recoil was. If I were bound and determined to have a compact 10mm, even I would have to give serious consideration to the 29.
EAA sells a conversion kit directly. I've considered it often but I have no need.

I tried the Witness Compact a little over a year ago. I loved the gun but had major problems with the compact magazines. Their customer service was not helpful and I sold the gun with full disclosure as to the problem. I’d look into that before going that route.
In fairness, EAA offers/lists a lot of things that they rarely have in stock and thus rarely actually sell! I have no idea whether a compact caliber-conversion top end in 10mm is one of those things. EAA's inventory/supply chain philosophy is truly mysterious to me. Same is true for lots of other firearm-related companies, too, though.

It had a 12 round magazine, but I could barely get 10 rounds in them. The follower would stick at the bottom of the magazines if loaded with more than 8 rounds, and even then it would not feed reliably. At best, it would function with 5 rounds in it. The gun itself functioned perfectly with 14 round Mec Gar magazines, so it was definately an issue with the factory compact magazines.

If SA were to offer their 10mm XDm in a 3.8” barrel version I’d be very interested.

I have often said if limited to a single handgun (in those what if threads) a commander length bobbed 1911 10mm would be my choice.

Seems like a $120 lone wolf barrel would be more cost efficient over a whole new gun
Do you reload? Glocks do fine with plated and polycoated bullets, neither of which are priced too badly.
