That's a great price on both of them! If I had the cash I would probably go with the Compact version.

I've been buying CPO SIGs for years. You can get an essentially new pistol for sometimes less than 2/3 the price of a new one ...

I picked up a "red box" P229 in 40s&w about a year ago.
I have worked into my CCW line-up. Excellent pistol.

Who wouldn't want a SIG.

Seems kind of odd, they aready have them in the CPO program.

A LOT of CDNN's guns are factory refurb or overrun. And they are often good deals.

A LOT of LE agencies are dumping 40 S&W now in favor of 9mm. Lots of good deals out there now if you want a 40. That is my guess as to why.

I bought a Sig 226 CPO several years ago. I couldn't tell it from new.

I picked up a red box West German P-226 with a new barrel, absolutely zero wear on the rails, all new springs and internals … for all appearances, it was a brand-new firearm … and I was hooked on the CPO SIGs.

$349 for any SIG with night sights, even in .40 S&W, is an awesome deal. And I'm quickly becoming a huge fan of the P-320 (having two already).

There's so many screamin' deals on .40 S&W pistols these days, I may have to get back into the caliber.

I picked up one of these full sized P320 CPOs in 40SW for $309 a couple of months ago from GunsMidwest. Best durn deal I've ever made. Excellent firearm. I'm trying real hard to not go back and get me another...at least not just yet!

Like jmr40 said, LE agencies are dumping 40s, so you likely won't find a CPO P320 in 9mm.

You can probably make up the difference in price in a few trips to the range with cheaper ammo, and it will be less expensive to shoot ever after.

I've bought two for 300 dollars (plus shipping and transfer on one of them. Tax and transfer on the other). A 40 and a 45. Both looked new and had sig-lite sights, fine guns. I've seen them in all 3 calibers on Gunbroker. I dont know why there are so many cpo on the market. I suspect (just my hunch) they didnt sell so great and after the "trigger upgrade" was performed on the new guns they called them cpo to move inventory and spike interest. I know that other than the red box (and lack of molded box) neither had been used much and .40 I bought hadn't been shot. The barrel, slide, and all internal parts that actually rub were new. The spare mag was new in the pack
I dont believe that in the current market that a sig 320 is worth more than 300 plus fees, nor do I feel that any Glock/M&P/XD/VP/FNP/p99 Owners give a crap about another copy. Fine guns, but no more than any of those. (I'll throw in that I own all but the VP MP and walther and have shot all but the VP and I'll say that the 320 has the best trigger by a bit.) The market for striker fired handguns and AR rifles is saturated. Maybe all guns for that matter. I've not seen one 320 come to a ccw class. Nor do any of the hundreds of gun owners and collectors I know have any interest in one. Other than a couple M17 owners who wanted "what the troops carry" I've seen zero interest. One nearby PD (SC) went to the 320 but the news of the drop safety issue (or non-issue according to some) came to light and they ditched them before ever carrying them.

Sig as a company has given themselves a pretty poor name the last 10 years with poor policies and denial and blame tactics. I dont think they are as sought after as they were. Even the 22x guns (which are among my favorites) dont have the appeal they once had

I'm almost glad it's in .40 S&W so my bank account doesn't have to take the hit . Nothing's really wrong with .40S&W and I've got a few but for the most part I don't plan on buying additional guns chambered for it. I've got all my use cases covered now so when I buy new stuff it's for range toys and 9mm is just cheaper to shoot.

You do know that in Connecticut I can't buy one of these guns? This is because ...terror of terrors the magazine contains more than the safe to the public 10 rounds.

Sheesh... even the compact holds three extra unsafe rounds.

Great deals. We're probably at the bottom of demand. It's apparent that Sig is not selling 320's like they thought they would. I can understand why. We live in a time with too many good options. In the 80's into the 90's, if you wanted a great pistol, it was a discussion about Beretta 92 vs Sig 226/9 vs Smith 3rd gen vs Glock. At the time, most manufacturers didn't really concern themselves with fitting a wide range of hand sizes or ambi controls. You got what they offered. A lot of people bought Beretta 92's or M9's since it was the commercial version of what the military carried. It was (and still is) a desirable handgun.

But now, with 1) literally everyone making a polymer framed striker fired handgun, 2) The models that didn't make the trials and versions of existing pistol lines were made to fit that niche but not submitted, (G19X, Ruger American P, S&W M&P2.0, Beretta APX, etc) were basically dumped on the market at the same time. 3) Political climate is stable and certain (at least through 10/2020), 4) Many people own multiple poly framed, striker fired handguns and like what they have. It's a question of how many do you really need or can even shoot? and, 5) If you already have invested in a certain manufacturer with common magazines, who wants to start over? You'd have half the cost of the Sig just in mags.

That said, the market is saturated and it's a great time to buy!

Saw this ad early this morning and would have also bought one if they had been full size in 9mm. In fact I almost pulled the trigger on a new one last night. Actually want to buy it for my son who just completed Army boot camp. Now in AIT Combat Medic.

What does the "street price" for a new SIG Model P320 go for? Imo, it pretty much comes down to how much is a lifetime warranty worth to you (as opposed to a one year warranty).

But remember that regardless of a year (used) or a lifetime (new) warranty you still pay 55 dollars shipping if you have owned it more than one year. I recently learned this trying to make a warranty claim. I'm not a fan of their policy (still a big fan of the 22x series though) and have never ran into such a policy with any other manufacturer. On a 300 dollar gun it may be cheaper to repair yourself rather than pay double for the new gun and 55 bucks to get it looked at in the event it breaks.

ETA not arguing. Just pointing out what others may not be aware of. I have and will continue to buy both red box and new sigs
