Just picked up this nice 1967 S&W Model 15-2 K38 Combat Masterpiece with target hammer and t arget trigger , smooth as butter action. original box and grips , no tools but I am not complaining.I added these target grips I had I like them better for my hands , stored the original grips for safe keeping. This should be a sweet shooter.

Another vote here for the M15 being perhaps the best all-around .38 ever made, I even preferred it over my old Diamondback.

Hey Snake, you've scored so many nice revolvers lately, how bout a family pic?:D
I might just have to do that, I wish my camera was better but I will see what I can do :)

One of the most under rated Smith and Wessons ever produced. Some of the best deals out there on used guns today are for Model 15's. I have several in 4 inch and 1 in 2 inch. Around here if you find one, it will be cheap. Everyone I've ever owned was smooth and accurate. Not sure why, but in my neck of the woods, no one wants a .38 S&W Revolver with the exception being a Chiefs Special. Everyone wants a Magnum and then shoots .38 bullets! My favorite range gun right now and has been for a while is the sister gun, the Model 14. Which is basically a 15 with a longer barrel. I've always wished that S&W had produced the Model 15 with a heavy barrel version. Enjoy the Model 15, I'm betting after a few range sessions it will go into the side of the safe reserved for the I'll never sell guns.

It appears to have the a trigger stop as well as target trigger and hammer. That's unusual for a 15.

A classic little revolver. A few years ago my daughter called me to tell me her husband wanted a gun for Christmas. I asked what she planned to spend. She figured $200 was a good number, they are young and raising a daughter with college aspirations. I told her I would see what I could do. I got a nice price from a friend on this Model 15.

I told my daughter we would make it a family gift and let me tell you it took every ounce of my Christmas Spirit to give this little gun up. :) The kid loves it and has gotten pretty good with it. Maybe this year a Model 19. I gave $375 for it and was happy as could be.

You have yourself a sweet revolver, may you enjoy many days of shooting it.
