I just got a carbine that takes glock mags and I want to fuel it up with a couple new mags. I have a few ets mags and they work, but I tend to like mags with metal lips so I’m looking at factory mags or any others that have metal. The only other I’ve seen is SGM, but they don’t seem common, or cheaper than factory so may as well get factory. I’d need 9mm and somewhere in the 17-24 rd range would be best.

Is 20$ as low as they go?
Thx.

I don’t think your going to get lower than $20 brand new.

I bought a dozen used genuine G19 mags at a gun show for $8/per.

I would think G17 mags would be more common as those were police issued a bit more often.

robertsons trading post often has used g17 mags for $11 to $15 with free shipping on 3 plus. None listed now but do have the steel lined KCI for $9.90 with 3+ free shipping.

I totally agree Glock OEM mags are the best choice, but I’ve been using Magpul 12, 15, 17, 21, and 27 rounders for couple years with flawless results.

I really like the size of the 21 round mags.

I’ve also heard great things on the ETS Tactical mags. Never person nelly used them.

I’ve been using Magpul 10, 15, & 17 round mags in my Glocks for years with equally flawless results. Just keep the followers clean with a silicone gun & reel cloth to keep the first round from hanging up as you are loading them.

I use a lot of KCI and MagPul mags in my PCC. Never had a problem with any of them.

Me four.
Can't speak for anything but the MagPuls though

I've been using MagPul Glock 19 magazines for probably 3 years and 26 magazines for 18 months or so with no issues. I think I paid about 10 bucks per magazine. If you're leery of buying an off brand magazine I'd suggest buying them 2 at a time and vetting them your self

ETA Gun Mag Warehouse has them in stock for 10.49 each

Genuine Glock mags - (you know the ones that actually work) are not that expensive FCOL..........

I have a lot of Glock OEM mags. They are generally what I carry, the best option available, and at $25 apiece, the best value of any OEM mag that I know.

That said, I’ve found Magpul, as mentioned earlier, a very good alternative and at half the cost, a great option for range work, classes, and competition shooting.

And to be honest, I prefer the G26 12 rounder to the Glock OEM 12 round magazine for carry.

If there's a GSSF match (outdoor match) near you, drop by. There's usually vendors which have Glock mags for good prices.

I run my Ruger PC with the Magpuls and they’ve been flawless. But, so have the OEMs and the KCIs. I particularly like the Magpul 21-rd. as being the best combination of capacity and compactness.

Do you think they are good enough to leave loaded with 20?

Brownells has mags on sale now. I’m looking at the new factory 24rd, but I may try the magpul also. Something in that range would be great in the pcc, the 31 is a tad long and the 17 is a tad short.
3 pack of pmag 21’s is 45$

Who else here wishes that MagPul made magazines for other Glock models / calibers? In particular, Glock 21 mags

I have written to them a few times asking for a 15 round .45acp mag.

I also have written to ETS Systems. They have some very high rated 9 and .40 mags Glock mags. They keep telling me they have more calibers coming but are taking forever to deliver:
