My personnel choices are:
1. Hot summer T-shirt and shorts attire, Kahr P9, Colt agent 38 special.
2. Comfortable temperatures, loose clothing, DW Bobtail Valor in .45ACP., DW Guardian in 38 super, Cz. Pcr in 9mm.
3. Cold whether, full size 1911 in either .45ACP or 10mm.
4. In the woods where toothy critters reside, .45Colt Mountain Gun
Themes my choices, what are yours? ;)

1. Pocket .380 of some variety. Bodyguard, LCP 2, etc. Maybe my NAA Wasp if I am going really light and getting really sweaty.
2. .38 snub nose in my pocket. Currently a Charter Arms Undercover with a bobbed hammer.
3. .45 acp of some flavor. full size 1911 or Charter Arms Pitbull in .45. both OWB
4. Ruger Blackhawk in .357 if in thicker skin territory. FN 509 Midsize in 9mm if weight is an issue where capacity is more prudent over punch.

2 1/2" S&W 66ND.
Weddings and Funerals when I know I'm going to get lots of hugs S&W Shield 9mm.
Out in the woods, back when I could walk without a cane S&W 8 3/8" 629-1.

Hot summer time, I usually carry a Sig P290RS 9mm as pocket carry.

I will also OWB carry my Sig P239 (.357 Sig or .40), P225 or Colt Combat Commander with a Columbia fishing shirt (like seen in my profile pic) as a covering garment.

Cold weather, anything goes. Most often, it’s my P229 (.357 Sig or .40), a 1911, P220, S&W 1076. I will rarely carry my CZ 75 due to the weight. No concealment issues.

If I am wearing a suit, I will carry the P290RS on a belt holster, P225, P239, 1911 Commander, all depending on what strikes me that day. I am always looking for a reason to carry my Walther PPK (especially if the occasion requires a tux, but then I know I cannot drink).

I have, but almost never carry my 5” 1911s.

(Yeah, I think about this. :D)

4. In the woods where toothy critters reside, Glock 19 2 reloads
5. Non permissive environment, Glock 26 1 reload

Forgot to add the question of what holster do you prefer for a given situation.

The appropriate sized Galco CM

While I have carried a CM-9, 642, G26, I now rely on my SIG P365 unless I am wearing my skimpy basketball shorts, then it's the LCP

No confusion here I know what I like, don't care for striker fire, polymer handguns so on the occasion I carry the Kahr it's with an empty chamber.
Go to in those hot weather conditions is usually the Colt agent with an empty cylinder under the hammer.
While I own several 9mm punybellums I much prefer a .45ACP or a .38 Super because:
100% American.
Invented by JMB.
Both are designed for the 1911.
Measured in inches instead of sillymeters. :neener:

^ not when JMB invented it. That's how the barrels are made today but that doesn't make it a punybellum.:p
The punybellum is .3543 inch dia., while the original 38ACP was .356 inch dia. or 9.04mm for you sillymeter folks. Once again the American version was bigger and thus better.:D

I'll never understand why JMB didn't paint the bullets red. We all know red ones go faster.

LCR 38 special or LCPII cover 95% of it.

Occasionally I will wear something larger OWB under a coat or inside a coat pocket, but that's pretty rare (G43, G26, S&W Model 10 snub, CA Bulldog).

The LCP fits into the breast pocket of a cover shirt or light jacket, and we don't have a lot of coat weather around here.

Right now...

When I can wear an untucked button-up, which is most of the time: Shield 2.0 PC 9mm with 4 in barrel (IWB at 3:30) or a Gen 4 Glock 30 (owb at 1:30).

If t-shirt and shorts: a Ruger LCR 38+P or Kahr cw380 (pocket carry).

If on the water or working in a ditch, etc: Ruger LC9S (iwb or owb).

Others for open carry in the mountains, barbeques, etc.

If there's a chance of heavy sweating: .380 Russian Makarov. This gun conceals pretty well in the Remora IWB under a wet, outer shirt.

Expecting limited, less sweat on the inner and outer t-shirts: Sig P228 or the CZ 'PCR' (larger Remora IWB).

Sig P938 in summer.
HK P30SK the rest of the year.

In the woods I have a variety of 357’s, 10mms, and 45s.

^ Agreed, that's why the Colt Agent get's the nod most often. Don't know why I keep the Kahr, probably so I can shoot a striker fired gun on occasion. IMHO the 1911 is the safest of all handguns with three safeties. Requires a bit more familiarization but since I've been shooting one for 45 years I'm comfortable with it. Only major concern is the light single action trigger in a high stress situation.
Guess that's why I have DA/SA Sigs and CZ's in my rotation as well.
This has been an interesting post in that it's obvious most of the younger generation have pretty much all embraced the Glock as their CCW of choice, leaving all the older designs for us old farts.:D
I've shot them and have found them to be accurate and light. I just can't warm up to the safe action safety.
My motto is " Never buy a gun with a springy thingy in the trigger." :uhoh:

Ruger LCP Custom for pocket carry, either as primary or backup. Almost never carry a spare mag because I've never found a mag carrier for it.

Sig 938 either pocket carry or OWB holster carry. Always carry at least one spare mag.

Sig 225A-1 OWB holster. Always carry at least one spare mag.

If the above options aren't sufficient I suppose I need to call in John Wick or an airstrike.
