Started life as an el-cheepo PSA 10.5" kit, but then I got feeling nostalgic for an A1 upper like I had back in basic... Couldn't find a regular A1 upper, but I found the Canadian version with the brass deflector from Delta Tactical. I love the Midwest Industries rail (have it on two other guns) as it's light, rigid, has sling attachments, and isn't that expensive, so I got it as well. I also love the Surefire Warcomp. (I have that on other guns) One day I'll have a suppressor to swap around from gun to gun... Surefire Scout light, and Sig Romeo 5 round it off. I did upgrade to a JP trigger from my SBR, then put the Fostech Echo in it. Pretty much built this because I can't take the SBR traveling without getting permission... Stupid law. The SBR stays at home.

Recoil is a bit harsh as the PSA kits are over gassed, but they are reliable at least. I got a Springco RED spring in it now with an old hydraulic buffer from an old build to try out, but haven't had it back out to test to see if that calmed it down yet. Even if I go back to stock, at least it runs well, just a bit harder than some others. I guess they want to make sure they run because people who buy cheep guns also buy cheep ammo... This will cycle reliably with weak PMC Bronze. Probably would with cheep steel case, but I don't like steel case ammo.
