Brought home the Wicked Ridge. Hate to say it, but Dicks Sporting Goods offered me a good deal. Went in to test the fit and feel. Liked it, planned to go home and order it online. Manager matched an online price ($399), threw in a sling and three extra bolts. I'm not much for turning down free stuff.

Needs a little sighting in but the feel is good. Trigger is good, like it better than the Parker I borrowed. About same decibel levels as the Parker. Appreciate the help and insights. Now on to hunting bolt and broadhead selections.

Good choice! Be careful with it while practicing. It may shoot one bolt inside another while practicing. Mine does. Good bolts are not cheap.

Luckily the guy who lent me his crossbow warned me of that issue when I can within 1/4" of one of his bolts. The bag I'm using has several small targets, so I'm going on rotation. Appreciate it. Wouldn't have thought through that until it happened had it not been for guys like you sharing the reminder. Makes sense.

Sounds like Dicks might be hurtin'. I can only hope. I wouldn't buy a life vest off 'em if I was going down after my last gasp. :cuss:
