Thanks, I limited myself to 100 rounds for this endeavour. That was my best 25 yard target of the bunch. Shame i tossed that one shot into the 6 ring, I relaxed my grip and knew it as soon as I squeezed the trigger.

Nice shooting 1k. I feel you on the ability or lack thereof to see at 25 yards. I feel like my sight covers so much of the target at distance that it is hard to keep the same point of aim.

Apparently I can only see 15 yards.
Apparently you can see better than me at any distance.:p But yeah 15 yards I can sort of keep it together but past that it goes down hill quickly. All these challenges we have done so far the only guns I feel somewhat confident with at 25 yards is my two long barrel .22 and the Blackhawk .357 mag and maybe the Beretta 92 BUT we haven't done a double action revolver (using single action) challenge yet have we....hint hint

. If you really want to see us fall apart, throw in a double-action class.
I'll keep that in mind. However after thinking about it now that we are coming to the end of the year and after doing a challenge of some sort all year, I have two more planned for starting next month into November after that, that is it , just in time to break for December and call it enough. The one challenge I have in mind will be harder than using double action, because it will require using a single something not a double anything but it will allow to use any handgun you favor period .

Surprised by this one as the trigger is a bit creepy and not super light. Maybe I'll try a trigger job on it or something.

GI sights are rough and I didn't figure out the POI until the last three shots, which were a 10 and 2 Xes. Lol

I had to cover the center bull with the front sight with this load.

Glock 41. Not sure if it counts but it's the only Class three pistol I own.

I shot the first four shots high holding just below the bull, then moved my POA down and shot 6 10s.

I put this in here, but I’m not really happy with it. I can’t seem to get this gun to shoot well. The optic is tight. I can switch around barrels and they shoot fine in other guns and other barrels shoot equally poorly in this one. Knowing this, I put a larger rifle target behind my target so I could see where all of the shots were going. Good thing, as a couple were off the paper.

I’m thinking it’s an optic issue, but I can’t figure what. Maybe I’ll pull the optic and try it on a carbine, just to see what it does.

In any event, here’s the gun and the target.

Last entry for this challenge. This might fall a little outside of what’s considered a “LEO gun”. So feel free to not count it if you want. It is a Glock 17 with an optic, though. ;)

I had registered this one as an SBR, and put it in a KPOS Scout chassis. I’m still getting used to it, but overall it performs pretty well.

Since this is a handgun challenge, I folded in the buttstock and shot it like a traditional pistol. It was sighted in using the stock, and it obviously recoils somewhat differently than when holding it like a handgun. Actually, the recoil feels noticeably different than shooting the handgun when not in the chassis. And of course the end result is the the POI is somewhat different than when shooting with the gun shouldered. I only tried this one once, just for fun.
