Sig should introduce a new concept. With all of their new offerings, call it Sig Sauer Gun of the Week Club. How many iterations of the P320 can they do!?! I had to laugh now that they brought out a P320 Legion. What's next, maybe a P365 Legion. Give me the old school Sig Sauer hammer guns.

theyve always done that. so many variations of every model they make its impossible to keep up. meanwhile they only actually have a small handful of models in current production.

While I don’t really care to own any more full size striker guns, I recently looked over a P320 X-5 Legion and found it rather handsome.

A P365 Legion would totally spark my interest.

I prefer hammer guns and tend to buy them more than striker guns, and I’m as well stocked on polymer guns as I care to be, but I really like what Sigs been doing, with the exception of dropping the P227. Give me a god dang Sig P series 10mm P227 already!

Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don’t.

I'm to that point too except that I'd like to get the M17 version of the SIG P320 just because the military adopted it. Other than that though I think I'm done with polymer guns (and hence most striker guns). They're fine as tools and I own more than a few of them but they're only good for utilitarian reasons and I've got all those reasons covered now. For the purposes of collecting or just "interest" I mostly want metal guns (and generally older ones - for whatever reason I've gotten an itch for a French 1935A recently lol).

I can remember when SIG use to have like a couple of dozen or more variations of their P238!

Just looked on their website and at least they have cut down on that number somewhat...now there's only 19 different versions to choose from (including a Legion model)!

A 227 Legion SAO in 10mm would be amazing and I'd buy one tomorrow.

But Sig loves to go the Kimber model of flooding the market with a million new variants then inevitably dropping most of them quickly. Not sure if it's effective but it's kinda annoying.

Should have picked up that 227 SAS when k had the chance... grumble grumble

To each their own, but if it handles and shoots great, who cares? That said, I have no experience with that gun, so cannot comment on the handling/function part. Not ugly, not pretty, in my eye.

But you know what they say. "Pretty is as pretty does". Looks never won a gun fight.

Well said. And thanks to America, the land of the free, you do not have to buy a gun if you do not like it. And, yes, to judge any gun without shooting it, makes no sense to me and never has.

I had the p320 vtac. Ran about 700 rounds through it. No major complaints. It did what it was supposed to. Odd to say that I just don't like holding the front sight over top of my target. I could have fixed it but brother in law basically offered me what I paid for it.

Bought the wife a HK vp9. That is a great striker trigger!..

Not really apple's to apple's on comparison though as many months went by since the 320 left and the vp9 arrived.

I do think sig makes great guns. My max michel 1911 max is a great shooter.

The VP9 is one of the best. A friend of mine let me shoot his. Typical H&K quality.

I’ve had a VP9 for a few years and I really prefer the trigger on it over the Sig. Not saying the Sig is bad, just different and the HK wins my preference vote.
