Springfield's Hellcat carry pistol

Not interested. Probably a great gun. But I am totally happy with what I have. No interest in small double stacks. But it will be fun to watch the "dog fights" that will come out between the Springfield, Glock and Sig owners. Maybe that is why they named it,"Hellcat"
Need to stock up on Popcorn. The fights are going to be bloody. Better fasten your seat belts, it is going to be a bumpy road.

I thought they went out of business a few years back. I guess they have returned.

It's as micro as the 365 is anyway.

Which, for me, means too big for a pocket and too thin to shoot as well as any of the other belt guns I have that conceal just as well, practically speaking.

I’ll have to own one just because I like the concept. Already called my local LGS to have one ordered as soon as available and put behind the counter for me.

This is the first SA pistol that has caught my interest and IMO they did a good job with it and I like the looks, size, features, and capacity of it. I wonder if it has "primer drag" LOL.
Can't wait to try one out and hope the trigger reach is not too short for me. I am sure SA is going to sell truck loads of the Hellcat and great to have another competitor in the P365 type arena. Hopefully Walther will be next soon.

Looks worthy but it's too late for me, I've already invested in my p365s. The Hellcat has one round more capacity and a good aiming point (if the pictures are accurate) but I'm not a fan of the safety-in-a-trigger feature for CC.

As opposed to the no safety 365? Or do you have the thumb safety option?

I might be interested. I like my XDs, but mostly because it’s a 45.

I really don’t like that the rear sight isn’t a tritium night sight. That makes no sense to me with a carry gun.

Very intriguing. I like the packaging, too; two magazines (one being higher-capacity), and a choice of floorplates for the smaller one. And I was seriously considering looking at a G26, despite my current transitioning from a Kel-Tec PF9 to a recently-acquired Taurus G2C for capacity improvement.

Without an external safety. I don't see many revolvers with external safeties or flipper triggers, they seem to be working acceptably well.

If you're going to keep the trigger pull at the same weight as it would be without it, DAO for instance or DA/SA then I find the flipper unnecessary. If you're using it to to make a long heavy trigger pull shorter and lighter then I find that more dangerous as it may be harder to notice if / when it gets hung up on a piece of clothing or the holster or an obstacle stuck in the holster.

In addition, the flippers I have seen seem to be comparatively flimsy compared to the rest of the gun (the externals anyways).

The looks are phenomenal, and the grip goes very high at the back. They really learned their lesson with XD-E. I'm sad for the lack of the grip safety, but I'll deal with it. Glocks don't have it either.

Love my SA pistols. Didn't know a lesson needed to be learned with my XDE. Mine is just fine.

Umm... You're comparing Springfield's MSRP to Sig's retail price. The XD-S Mod 2 has a MSRP of $586, but sells for $400 at multiple online retailers... Same with the XDe. I'm guessing these will end up at around $400 also and will end up selling with extra mags which will make it an even better deal over the P365.

Ok. So it's noticeably bigger than the p365. And the accuracy in the video was awful. 4" at 10 yards slow fire? Either the pistol is crap or the shooter is.
