It would be my nightmare if I left one of my pistols in a bathroom. It doesn't take much to get distracted and the next thing you know you are miles from same aforementioned men's room with your pistol left on the toilet tank, bathroom shelf or even the floor.
My solution is to place my pistol right on top of my shoe.

I never unholster my EDC unless I'm at the range, or in the shop when the gun needs a cleaning. In the restroom, the gun/holster combination stays on my belt and goes where gravity takes it.

If your holster doesn't provide adequate retention, and as a consequence you're regularly unholstering your loaded firearm in public spaces, or even worse you're prone to leaving your loaded firearm unattended in public spaces, then you're endangering those around you.

Buy good leather (mine is a Milt Sparks VersaMax II, but there are many quality holsters available) and stop being THAT GUY.

A guy here who carried to church left his in the bathroom during the service. Next person in found it on the back of the toilet. Could have been a bad situation!!

I have to admit my initial response to that was who the heck goes to the bathroom during a service? Back when I attended church years ago, no one EVER got up for any reason. You literally had to pass out to get out of the pew. Times change.

Leave it in the holster, use the stall on the end if you are worried about someone grabbing it under the divider. IF it must come out, put it In your drawers. A police chief in south Florida had to resign for two (2) NDs caused by putting his glock on the hook on the stall door, thru the trigger guard.

Depends on what I'm carrying. It either stays in it's holster on my belt, or it's holster in my pocket.

Usually stays on the belt, and I might roll it inward if the circumstances dictate. If it does need to come off the belt, the holster/gun assembly comes off together and gets dropped down one pant leg, which feeds into a cowboy boot.

Pocketed guns stay in the pocket.

So it was a Bump-Stall? Wait, Bump-hook? Weren't those banned?

Seriously though, I did this once before I realized it was a terribly dangerous idea. Hang it on the hook, not the ND part. Seriously, folding it inward or dropping it in the drawers is simpler.

I normally use the baby changing table. Put a paper towel down and lay my gun there.

The big variable here is what people are carrying. I carry a LW Commander with 9 rounds of .45 ACP in the gun.

Many police departments train cops to make a hammock out of the crotch of their pants and put the gun there.
It's perfectly safe, you can't accidentally leave it, and no one can grab it. If someone kicks the door open, you're still armed.

Things NOT to do......

Don't put it on the floor.
Criminals often go through toilets and look to see what they can reach under and grab. You're in no position to chase them and they know it.

Don't put it on the tank or paper holder.
They fall off and go skidding across the floor. People can pick it up and walk off.
Sometimes they fall into the toilet and the owner has to go "pearl diving" for it.

Don't hang it on the coat hanger.
Again, criminals go through toilets and reach over to grab whatever they can find.

Don't hold it in your hand.
In one famous case a detective was sitting on the john holding his 2 inch Detective Special and inadvertently pulled the trigger, sending a bullet down through the entire row of stalls.
When Internal Affairs and the Shooting Team were investigating one customer told them that when the bullet passed in front of his face any constipation he might have had was instantly cured.
The cops roared with laughter.
