Got one the other day . Tried a few rounds , click but no bang . Primers weren't even dented . Took it apart and it has a broken firing pin .

Does the firing pin help it eject the round ?
I think it's a really cool tiny pistol . What really made me buy it was the year it was made 1919 . That was the year my Dad was born .

On the Baby Browning version (and all of its following clones), the firing pin does indeed double as the ejector. I don't know about the 1906, which is what I'm assuming you have, but I'm pretty sure it does as well.

This makes rapid chamber-clearing something to be done with caution. Are you having difficulty removing the unfired rounds?

I need to get one.
Shortly after I came back from Viet Nam Grandpa died. He had a similar .25 which he had promised to me.
His step daughter, my aunt, was a petty, jelious, fat, bitter, single woman ( wonder why?)
Told me I couldn't have it cause she hated guns.
She claims to have thrown it into the river.

I never spoke to her again. But I did make fun of her every chance I got.

Ya, I need a .25. R I P Grandpa.

I reload .25 acp but it is a real pain with the small cases and powder weights.

You must have some amazing manual dexterity along with the patience of a Saint! I could see where some decent tweezers and a magnifying glass would come in handy too!

I don't think I would attempt anything smaller for reloading than a .380.

I have always Wanted to buy: Bauer 25
:)

I want one of these because they were made in Fraiser Michigan.

And they are so awesome!

@Demi-human, my friend, I edited you post so it doesn't look like a a post that should be in the trading and would force me to give you a warning. So consider yourself chastised and stand in the corner for 20 seconds.:neener:;)

I got the firing pin today from Numrich . It came a little before I had to leave for work . I had to try it , hurried up put it in and nothing . Took it apart and noticed it was quite a bit shorter than the original one . The broken one always has a click but no bang .

I ordered another one from Jack First gun parts . Nice lady that answered had one right in front of her . She measured the length of the shaft to where the pin would start it sounds like the right one .

I know it's something that's going to just sit in the safe but I really want to shoot the little thing ,!

Please excuse my corny humour.
I do like them. I suppose I'd have to buy a vest if I got one though.;)

I wish y'all could have seen LogiBear's face when,
after I just stood him in the corner and told him to count to sixty for bugging his sister,
I stood in the corner next to him at the front door and started counting to twenty!:D

It took us a few minutes to read the post (he's seven).
He just looked at me and said "Next time you're gonna havfta count to sixty..." Love that kid...

@bfox,

Good to hear you found a proper pin.

Before she retires to the comfort of a cool safe, let us know how she does.

Gotta love these tiny wonders!

The Colt Vest Pocket is one of the all time classic pocket pistols. The Baby Browning and Bauer clone are right in there too. Hard to find a Vest Pocket that hasn’t had plenty of hard use and neglect; and when you do it’s gonna cost you some big bucks. Don’t know why but I always wanted one. Not sure what I would do with it. If you shot someone with one, and they found out about it, I’m pretty sure it would make ‘em mad as hell. Yet and still, if that was all I was holding when the “stuff” hit the fan, I would pull it out and go to work. My every-day CCW is a CW9...pretty sure I could ruin someone’s day with it.

I'm Happy got the firing pin from Jack First today . Works perfect it about 1/4 " bigger than the one Numrich had . Two shots about 5 yards . First one close to center . Second think I got to excited because it worked .
