Favorite Black Guns...handguns, that is.

Well Pat, I suppose this used to would have been my favorite black pistol, as it was my only black pistol. Cropped from a much larger scanned old photograph.


As I said, it WOULD HAVE BEEN, but I sent it to Robar, and it's not black any more.

Can’t beat an all steel full size service pistol. It has a nice heft, and feels right in the hand. What a great tool.

Black handguns? I like 'em!

While there are others that I might like more, or ones that I might shoot better. Somehow this one keeps finding it's way into my holster and the majority of my range time.

Sorry...just pulled a pic off my phone. It’s a Sig MPXk. Not an SBR as it has a brace not stock. Great fun little shooter.

Mine used to be a S&W M&P 40 but my wrist has developed problems and I gave up on it. It became unpleasant to shoot and the effects lingered for many hours. My oldest grandson now has a nice M&P and I have a Walther CCP. It doesn't hurt me to shoot it and I'm fairly accurate with it. If we include 22 rimfire it has to be a Ruger SR22. Lot's of fun.

That said I'm not a huge fan of any black gun, read as plastic fantastic, but they do have some advantages over all steel for certain things.

My absolute favorite has also turned out to be my duty carry piece, it's my P95 FM Hi Power
