Good Patriot’ Films Little Girls’ & Grandmas’ First Time Shooting An AR-15!

Thank to Kcafohio for taking time to get these ladies out to shoot the AR to see that they are NOT a bad gun that the Dem,s want every one thank they are more people need to do the same.

That great! I had a similar experience with some friends of ours. They had never shot ARs so I took them out to the range. They had a lot of fun. My friend went ahead and bought ARs for himself and his son.

I am in the process of building a lighter weight AR-15 using Mission First Tactical stock, grip, handguard and a pencil style barrel with .625” gas port. I weighed all of the parts last week and it weighs a little over six pounds with all of the loose parts in a cardboard box which makes me think it will hit the six pound mark after I assemble it.

I am building it for my wife who doesn’t like heavy guns. Since it will not have a lot of rounds shot though it each range session I hope it will not get too hot using the lightweight barrel and MFT handguard.

Good deal. We all should be in the take a responsible friend to the range mode now. It will help our cause to show safe responsable use of "normal" firearms.

Spats, I have an offer to any and all of my anti-gun friends, if they'd like to experience shooting a firearm, I'll supply the guns and ammo for them to experience a safe time shooting a gun. So far haven't had to supply even one bullet.

Possibly leading to birth defects in future generations leading them to be free thinkers?

But we need to keep bring in new shooters. Take heart, keep trying. I do.

Lady 72 years young at the 2:08 minute interval makes a pistol ''bang'' hand gesture.

Obviously she does not know that would get her kicked out of high school if at that age today, or possibly even red-flaggered regardless of age

It's amazing how a good, safe time at the range can make converts. When we first started dating my wife disliked guns. Took her to the range, she fell in love with my Python with .38's in it. Now has her own Ruger SR22 and FN-57. The former is a lot cheaper to shoot than the latter.

I sort of thought the same thing at the start, but those shooters clearly didn’t seem to mind, and the fact that the short upper was lighter and easier for them to handle more than made up for it IMO.

bottom line, good on that lady for introducing the other ladies to the AR!

I also thought the arm brace would be a handicap but it appears it was not.

A few ounces heavier and longer barrel are guy’s gun. From what I have read and personal experience some women like lighter barrel and handguard weight. I am building a AR for The Lady with a 16” pencil barrel and MFT handguard. Both The Lady and Daughter #2 are short in height and have short arm reach so I looking forward to them shooting it.

A 22 can be useful when starting someone who is gun shy. However I have found that teaching females to shoot with a 9mm and AR15 quickly builds self-confidence and gives them a sense of empowerment.

Thanks for the link. I have found that my lady friends tend to enjoy the AR15 more than most other long guns--an exception being one of my daughters, who prefers busting clays with a shotgun. Really liked the article's contrast with Gersh Kuntzman’s piece; what a wuss.
