Fine. Now I get to post a pic as well.............

Well, let me say this; that is the most fun I have had with a gun in a while. That thing shot everything, from my cow fart loads of 3.5 grains of HP38 158 grain RN 38 specials, to my 14.5 grains of 2400 and 158 grain swc. The weight of that gun is fabulous. The gun is so steady when shooting unsupported. 357 mag loads were by far the most fun. I am amazed of the destruction caused by it on the pumpkins. More devastating than our tactical shotgun efforts on the pumpkin, way more devastating than a 45 1911.

Several hundred were pushed through the barrel this afternoon between me, my wife, daughter, his boyfriend and my hunting buddy. Great day. Oh, and this is how our morning started, a call from my hunting buddy who at 73 years young needs some help these days to haul out his deer. Thank god I did not go out to hunt this morning and decided to reload instead, otherwise he would have been a very unhappy hunter :) I wish I could use a rifle to hunt deer in my state. This gun would be the ticket. What a great freakin' day.

Nice looking Henry! Glad you like it. Yes the .357 long gun brings fun to an entirely new dimension. I like your friends sleigh for pulling a deer out of the woods .

One of the reasons I purchased my .357 long gun as it allows me to hunt deer in the shotgun areas of my state. What state are you from?

Massachusetts.... but hopefully in about five years I will be able to say Montana :)

What scope is that? I've been toying with the idea of putting a LER scope on my 92.
It's a Weaver 4x28 scout scope. Found it used at a very good price on Ebay, as new condition. Works well for my purposes. The model Rossi I have, a 20" round barrel, came pre drilled for a scope mount, holes under the rear iron sight. This particular Rossi model also came with the mount in the box.

The scope is small enough, in my opinion, not to throw off the classic lines too much. Regardless, at this point I need it. lol

I have ordered Steve's parts and video to massage y Rossi in order to make it run a tad smooth.
The saga will continue.

Thanks! 4x is a little more than I need/want, but I wasn't aware Weaver was making scout scopes. I might have to try and turn up a 2x.

I've already got the mount, mines currently wearing a TRS-25 mini red dot. It works well, just looking to mix things up a little. I just can't leave well enough alone.
