I did A LOT of gun and ammo buying this year, one for the record for me, last year I said in 2019 I looked to purchase less but winded up going hog crazy lol. I could say that this coming year I plan to NOT buy much but well, we will see lol.

Now the question is what are your hopes for what might be made available or what you would like to get this coming year?

My personal list is, I would like Prvi or S&B ammo to make 8mm Mauser in 170 or 185 gr, I would like Prvi to make 7.7 Jap ammo and 30-40 Krag, and for them to make to spec 6.5 Carcano ammo, only Hornady does but it is over a $1 a round to shoot, the Prvi Carcano ammo won't hold a group. All other Prvi ammo has been real good though.

Guns, like to see Henry come out with a side gate loading .357. Would like to PSA come out with available .243 Win uppers. Springfield Armory, bring back the SAR-48 FAL not that DSA is bad. Would like to have somebody find a nice stash of surplus rifles SOMEWHERE and bring them over here lol, did we really wipe out all the surplus from Europe and the ex communist countries? I know Russia is off the table for now but....

Maybe in 2020 I'll finally get a Romanian PSL , but every time I see them going for $1600.00 plus I'm stuck in the memory that 10 years ago they were $800.00 and I just say no, not yet.

all I can think of for now.

I’d love to see a CZ 527 in 224 Valkyrie. Almost zero odds, but I can hope. Somehow I will get a 280 AI rifle this coming year, but I say that every year. I’ll likely rebarrel an old Tikka 695. I will get the new CZ / Dan Wesson DWX.

My major goal is to build a good shooting area somewhere on our property. I need to practice more.

Hi...
Looking to buy a Caldwell Lead Sled and a chronograph.
Lots of reloading components, for sure.
As for firearms... probably get a couple of lever actions in .357Mag and .44Mag, if I can find a good deal on them with a side loading gate. Spent a lot of time this past year shooting my Cimarron 1873 lever action in .45Colt and I want to expand the fun.

Well, I thought I was good, got what I thought would be 2 years worth of components. Now, I am not sure that will be enough, though I really don't have room to store more. I will definitely need to get some more 12ga clays loads and .22LR.

I’m hoping to buy a smaller 44 mag revolver to play with for lighter loads, to complement my SRH and Henry rifle that see full power hunting loads. Something along the lines of the Smith model 69 or a short barrel Super Blackhawk. I’m hoping Ruger comes out with a 44 magnum capable GP100 but I don’t see it happening. I’d consider the Special version except all of my brass is magnum and don’t want to invest in Special brass.

I still need a 92 of some form to pair up with my CX4. I am need a 357 revolver or 2 or 3 to go with my 1894. I'd love a Vaquero and maybe the Taurus 692(the extra 9mm cylinder sounds appealing).

I still don't have an AR, AK or an SKS. The RAR in 7.62 x 39 has caught my attention.

I'd like to get into reloading and start with 357/38 spl, but starting from scratch seems daunting.

Somewhere in all this my Mom wants a 38 snubnose as well

I want Kimber, Tikka and Browning to put out lightweight rifles with 18", 5/8x24 threaded barrels. Give Barrett a little competition in the lightweight suppressed hunting rifle market.

Edit: I'd also like to see Grand Power bring the Stribog A3 (roller delayed version) to the US without too much of a price bump over the A1 version.

I have everything shooting/ hunting I want/ need; however, “the truth” would be a really novel and refreshing commodity to have in our society. But as stated before, like a CZ 527 in 224 Valkyrie, almost zero odds I should think.

I "hope" to finally get all my guns into the shape & customized form that I have been seeing in my imagination for far too long.

Night sights on a very few that don't have them, scope mounts and back up red dot on a few rifles,.

And would truly love to see Ruger [ or ANYONE ] make a much lighter stock for the RSR [ replacing my far to heavy one ].

And of course the impossible, peace on earth and good will toward all [ ok,that is just a joke ].

Just want to see this nation pull toward ANY common goal that benefits this country.

One thing I would like to get for the coming year is more organized...oh wait, wrong subject... :p

I would love to see S&W make the 327 series into a traditional looking revolver without the attachments and rails. I have wanted a 5” barreled one but I don’t like the current format, even though I may buy a TRR8 this coming year regardless.

I would love to see a Glock .22LR, but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

I would love Ruger to make the original Vaquero again in .357 Magnum and / or .45 Colt. Not a big fan of the New Vaquero.

Most of all, though, I would like to see some political sensibility and some freedom from the press manipulation and agendas.

The elephant in the room, here in Virginia, is what the legislature is going to do about guns. With this hanging over our heads, gun purchases are on hold until the situation is clarified. Then, the buying frenzy can begin (or not, as the case may be).

Unfortunately the outlook doesn't look good but I hope the best for you all in Virginia

Alot of people mentioning 10mm which I don't have yet, and also wouldn't mind getting another .40 or two, I only have a Glock 23 right now.

I slapped together 3 AR's and bought more ammo than any other year in 2019. I'm probably going to continue through 2020 building up an ammo store and make sure I hit all my intended marks. I hit 5k for 5.56 now I'm going to turn my focus to 5k-10k 9mm and a few thousand rounds of steel cased 5.56 for range time. I would like to build one more AR probably before things get too stupid in this political climate and then I intend to add a couple bolt guns and lever guns to my collection. I'm also in the market for a S&W air weight snub... then I'll probably be done....
