anyone use slip2000 ewl or ewl30

I have used slip 2000 ewl in the past and found it was very slick, kept carbon in suspension well to the point you could wipe it off the part and re-apply lube and be ready to go again. This was on a piston driven AR with a nickel boron coated bolt carrier so take that into consideration. For a non toxic lubricant i couldn't have asked for more.
That said I have moved on to Rand products for non toxic / bio based lubricants. Rand CLP for oil and Rand HAWG for applications that call for a grease. I performed a test on a freshly cleaned fullsize 1911 with one application of Rand CLP and burned through 792 rounds of FMJ in a total of 45 minutes without a stoppage. I checked the gun every 252 rounds to see how "wet" the parts appeared and how slick or sluggish the action felt. By 792 the action was still smooth and I could see some parts were still wet although carbon was beginning to build. I was confident I could have ran the gun to 1,000 without cleaning but decided to save the ammo, Cleanup was a snap.

I use Slip Ewl pretty much as my primary lubricant now. Does well for bolt actions as well as semi-auto and does not seem to harden. I also use grease for certain other parts. For storage and wipedown of exteriors, I do use CLP Collectors as I really do not want the exteriors to be slippery so a light oil that evaporates leaving behind silicone protection is fine.
I do use other products for cleaning. Have little need for the heavier Slip EWL 30 in my applications so have never messed around with that. I suspect that Slip and Slip EWL are derivatives of synthetic motor oils which a lot of folks report using but maybe not. One interesting thing that appeared when I looked up the products at the Slip website due to your post, they mentioned this,
"Slip 2000 EWL is a specially formulated synthetic liquid lubricant. Formulated with out the use of mineral oil or petroleum distillates Slip 2000 EWL has extremely high penetrating and (EP) antiwear properties. It also combines three essential functions in a single product. Specifically; Cleaning, Lubrication, and Preservation of handheld weapons, and weapons systems of both large and small caliber. This product will not separate, become sticky or dry out and leave any tacky residue behind. I have replaced Break Free CLP with Slip EWL for some applications.I also like their Choke Tube cleaner for getting plastic out of my shotgun chokes and bore. For Grease I still prefer Mil-Comm TWB-25.
good to know seems they have positive reviews the reason I ask is my lgs is now stocking slip products , I have been using weapon shield for a while with good results but I am out of it and nobody near me stocks it

That is all I use now. It was the only lubricant used at Sig's Academy and still is even through the Lucas sponsorship years. The staff repairing and maintaining their firearms told me it's all they use so it is good enough for me.
A cheap way to try it is to order the sample pack for about 20 bucks from Amazon that includes their carbon cleaner and degreaser as well. I used their degreaser for the first time due to your post as I have forgotten I had it. Started using Slip 2000 in 2016 and still on the original sample size bottle but it is about time to reorder.
