You Buy Yourself Anything For Christmas?

YES! I took advantage of a 12 month, no interest financing offer at a local firearms retailer and bought me a Sig P365 with safety, a Mossberg Shockwave with wood furniture (I don't like synthetics) in 12 GA and a sweet, used, mid 60's early model 700 Remington in 30-06 that has a pristine Leupold Vari-X III 3.5-10x40 glossy scope, just the way I like them! That pistol digested 100 rounds without a hiccup and that Remington was 1.5" high at 100 yards with a 1" group! A tack driver for sure!

Not for Christmas, but for my birthday I got myself my Extar ep9.
Nice choice, I LOVE mine. Can't seem to get a foldable charging handle though, Ive been trying since april. Weigh down your EP9 with sight, optic and a light, it needs the weight because it's so light. Makes it much better to shoot. I also have a full 32 round mad attached to the side of the brace, with velcro straps. See my avatar for my setup. I tried to convince myself to buy a more expensive 9 pcc, but the only one that shoots better is a Sig MPX. It's more durable due to less polymer, but it's 4 times the cost. Ive shot scorpions, EP9 has far better trigger, and better recoil. I did get the $16 JP spring kit, not sure it did anything.

A 3/4 hp 110v TEFC motor to go on a Clausing 15” swing arm drill press which was at work until about a year ago. The maintenance team and engineers reworked the machine to make it rigid enough to use on an automated production line for automotive components, and then rebuilt it shortly before it was retired because it broke down during the “buildout” this machine will be used as a mill once my motor comes in. It would have been left alone but I wasn’t fooling with a 3 phase 480 conversion. Much easier and similar cost just to replace the motor. So now, my gun part building capacity has jumped forward by leaps and bounds. I will be ripping my old drillpress apart and reworking it to use it as a very very basic lathe for making small cuts and polishing or crowning barrels.

Thankfully I've never received neckties as a gift. Throughout my career I focused on minimizing assignments that required I wear one. I don't remember ever buying my father neckties as gifts either. A carton of his favorite brand of cigarettes (with my Mom's help of course), but never any articles of clothing.

Nothing gun related was given to me, but my daughter gave be some very good home made candies and a home made fruit cake.
Now what did I get myself for Christmas. Well I bought myself a Kitchen-aid mixer from Sam's Club. From Gander Outdoor which is going out of business I bought 5 Primer ST Croix fishing rods and 4 reels at 50% off. From Scheels I bought an FLX 28 and just to keep it honest I bought a box of 357 hollow points.
