Man tweets to NRA - 'I just killed my whole family, and i couldnt have done it without a gun!'

Insane people blame a lot of things, people, situations for their problems.

Not News to me. That he "Thanks" the NRA proves which side of the fence he resides.

And yes, he would have used a knife. Or a bat, or poison.
He's a madman.
The cat I can understand, but what could the dog have possibly done?
 
I wonder if this will be one of the cases of suspect had a clean record, guns all bought legally, and no history of making any suspicious comments.

And then a Red Flag Law will be pushed.
 
In a 100% hypothetical situation where I'd be deadset on making a political statement by committing a murder (which I most definitely won't, just to make it absolutely clear), I'd source a black market gun, shoot up a gun free zone and be as loud as possible afterwards, thanking liberal collectivists for disarming all realistic and practical possibilities of resistance for me in advance.

This incident has all the characteristics of the same agenda, reversed.
 
The irony of his seeming liberal outlook combined with his criminal misuse of a firearm will be lost on antis. His desire to make a political statement about his distaste for 2A freedom while committing murder shows that unhinged criminal behavior knows no political boundary. It’s always the criminal behavior, the criminal ideation, and not the means employed.

I’ll put him in the same category as James Hodgkinson (left wing activist), that pretty much committed suicide by cop back in 2017 at the Congressional baseball practice.

Wouldn’t be much different if he was a right wing nut job and killed with a tree branch (aka bat) to show the world how deadly they are and why we shouldn’t be saving them yet eliminating them from the earth so they can’t hurt people.

Not that people from the right are anti tree, just using it an example of how some nut my see the “greeen new deal”.

Really, shouldn’t he be thanking Obama, Reid, and Pelosi? They surely could’ve passed gun control with the ACA, but I guarantee that’s not where the money was and how their masters were pulling the puppet strings.
 
John Hinckley JR shot President Reagan and several others to impress Jodie Foster. Does that mean Jodie Foster is to blame? Or the revolver? Of Course not. But the media is quick to believe the NRA is responsible for killings instead of the lunatic on the trigger. It boggles my mind to no end.
 
Is anyone surprised? A guy who is crazy, unhappy with his life, decides to finally be someone important in the world by making a violent political statement and hurting innocent people and animals. Reminds me of antifa. I hope he suffers greatly in prison.
 
I am not going to buy this -- that this individual actually used his own Twitter account to reply to an NRA tweet.

Let's see if we can get some verification that this guy actually posted that tweet.

This crime happened a ways up I-5, but the couple used to be local to me, and none of our Western Washington news media has reported this aspect of the case.
 
So far I have seen it inferred the guy did this because he was a Democrat and/or because he was coerced by anti's. The guy is a nut job, period.

"Officials have not confirmed the account, created in 2014, belongs to Kevin Heimsoth. The account is followed and has been retweeted by an account also created in 2014 that appears to belong to Lynn Heimsoth."

Most of the Twitter user’s tweets are in response to President Donald Trump, opposing the president’s policies and statements, including those about mass shootings.

Early Thursday, the Twitter user responded to a tweet from the National Rifle Association, saying they had just killed their family and “couldn’t have done it without a gun.” In a tweet the user repeated in the next 20 minutes, tagging the president and then U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, they said that guns — particularly AR-15s — make it easier to kill people. In another tweet, the user said someone should call for a welfare check at the apartment unit.

Elfo said his office has decided to not yet release details on the gun used, but he said it was not an AR-15 or any other kind of rifle.
