So I sweet talked my way into some of grandpa's old stuff.

But I didn't specify that I needed something with instructions. I think I more or less figured it out but wanted to check.

From left to right I believe that the first is the realizing die and deprimer, second is the expander and it looks like it can be used as a through powder die, and last is the bullet seater.

I'm using Lee dies of that vintage as well as RCBS, Hornady, Redding, all working perfectly and producing good ammo as the day I got them.

I like the powder through dies. I don’t use that feature, but they seem to work well. I do not like that type of bullet seater though, I can’t get the ones I have to stay consistent. They wander a bit.

I'm planning on getting a pound of unique and some inexpensive jsp/plated 158 grain bullets to start off with. I'm not opposed to getting new dies but if there is something laying around that works.....

They work. Just check your seating depth every once in a while.
I use that die set and don't have issues. That being said, I only reload 50-100 at a time and always check my setup when I start.

I am not seeing the decapping pin and rod in the sizer die. Also is it a regular die that requires case lube or one with a carbide ring that does not. You can get the depriming rod easily but will need to deprime somehow otherwise.

It's there I just couldn't get it disassembled like the rest I'll ste..... acquire some penetrating oil from work and let it do it's thing. They all need to be cleaned up anyway and they all look like they are just steel which is okay for now probably.
