Hi..
I was going to go to my local cast bullet supplier and pick up a few thousand bullets but Gov. Wolf(Pa) closed non essential businesses by governmental edict. He is using the state police to force compliance.
Not much fun living in a police state.
I ordered a few thousand on line but don't know when they will arrive. Vendor hasn't furnished a tracking number yet.

What guides your buying? Is it fear that guides you, a sense of insecurity or lacking? Do you wait until the sign of the panic then begin to buy?
Let this guide you instead. At all times economies ebb and flow due to cycles of supply and demand. There are times of high prices and times of low prices. Like a sine wave. Up and down, over and over. When it is that you find yourself in the low part of the cycle, BUY. There will be no particular reason to buy, times will seem great, and supply will abound. It will seem like a random time to hoard. But then is the time to buy, when no one else sees a reason to.
Then the panic comes. Now is the time to SELL. Keep only what you need to get through. Sell the rest.

Honestly nothing. I managed to find two boxes of 9mm bullets to load. 115 gr platted, and I managed to get 2000 of them. I found the cleaning patches I wanted. Gun oil. I've got a variety of powder at home.
And I picked up a gun two Fridays ago. I got strangely fortunate.
I want to buy another Zero Tolerance knife, cuz I really like em, but I have spent enough for now.

What I wanted to buy, I did buy - the new Smith 638 I ordered from a LGS last Tuesday came in this morning. I went to town and "bought it" (that is I paid for it) this afternoon.
I also bought a new Tagua brand holster while I was at the gunstore. It will be dark in an hour here though, so I'll probably wait until tomorrow to drive down to the gravel pit and try out my new snubby and holster.
Oh, yeah - while I was in town, I drove over to Sportsman's Warehouse just to check on ammo. They had plenty of rimfire, but I didn't see any 9mm or 38 Special - except for a couple of dozen boxes of 38 Special "Cowboy" ammo. I probably have enough ammo and components to see me and mine through this thing anyway.

.40 cal ammo for a friend who lives in a state where it is problematic in the best of times.
Sent him some of my own 5.56 but .40?..... Well, there are some things I just won't do!
Sure wish I coulda popped down to a store here in the Phoenix area to get some for him.

That, my man, is a funny one just commented upon this morning to my wife.
I generally get my hair cut twice or maybe three times a year. If it is cut well, it grows for months in fine shape.
On a whim 2 weeks ago I got it cut shorter than I even wore it in the Army - which was long by Army standards anyhow.
Man, am I glad to not have to risk the adventure with my wife. She's a great cook but coiffeur? Not so much.

What amazed me was that I stopped at two stores that were open. The first, Countrymax...a suburban pet and gardening store, really a hobbyist type store. I cant imagine anything in there being essential.
Next was the local Gander Outdoors. Mobile home and sporting goods retailer. Essential? How?
I am only commenting because all the other independent gun stores were required to close. There is nothing I need for guns or ammo but have a GC that I would pick up some 45 acp with. Although they were almost all cleaned out of ammo I was surpised to find a bulk box of Remington jacketed 230 grain .45 acp. I didn't have what I was sure to be 200.oo or so anyway.

Fire up the Wahl, no guard, adjusted close. Go all over. Except the eyebrows. No problem. Makes it easier to put the Rogaine right on the scalp.

You can find a recipe for homemade hand sanitizer with a Google search. The recipe I'm trying calls for Everclear 151 and Aloe Vera. I'm having trouble finding Aloe Vera.

I dunno ... we got a city council up here (Bellingham, WA) that thinks it can ban both sales of firearms AND alcohol during this emergency. Fortunately, that city's attention is being called to the whole state preemption thing we have incorporated into our state's constitution, but still ... staying home-bound with no beer or bourbon? AND no sports? This is America, damn it!

Thankfully, I'm well set on almost everything. The only thing I need is a loaf of whole wheat bread for me and a honey wheat loaf for my parent. I couldn't get eggs on Saturday as they were gone, as was skim milk, most of the fresh meat, and (naturally), TP. Went back this morning and got 2 dozen eggs and more yeast for my breadmaker as Aldi's was still out of those breads. Store employees didn't have any idea of when they might get those types back in the store. NUTZ !!
