I'm in the (slow) process of building an AR pistol. I definitely want to put brace on the buffer tube. I done some research on them, and know most of them. For a while I had decided on the Fab Defense version of the shockwave because it had a QD mount near the "heel", and the original shockwave doesn't. I was going to use the KAK dimpled buffer tube. But the thought of using a proprietary tube doesn't thrill me.
But I think now using a standard carbine buffer would be nice, in case I ever decide to SBR it. So I've been looking at the SBA3. I think it's the direction that I am going to go.
However, all that said, I wanted to get some of your guy's thoughts, opinions, and ideas since many of you have more experience than me with AR pistols.
So which brace is your favorite? Do you have multiple, if so which one do you like better?
