I lost the reset part of the drum and put the drum on a lee progressive for 40 s&w and it won’t drop a full charge because the drum isn’t fully rotating. Any ideas?

Might need to screw it farther down and run your case up into it. The farther down, the more it rotates. Just make sure you don't go too far or you may crack the casting from the pressure.

What HDMontana said above - adjust the powder measure so that it works for your purpose, but make sure the visible black plastic part on the side of the cast metal body does *not* rise high enough to touch the metal body at the top of its slot. I learned this the hard way - metal body cracked, and it was an adventure even getting the measure off the press.

As usual, Lee was very helpful and basically sent me a new measure for my trouble - and I now make sure the little black plastic square does not rise all the way in its slot when the ram is at its highest point.

Try messing with the screw that tightens it. May be too tight.
I had this issue. I was tightening the screw a little at a time, trying to get it to quit leaking HP-38. Finally got it to quit leaking, and started loading. I was a good ways in when I realized some of my charges didn't look quite right. Had to go back and pull about 100 rounds to double-check. Only found one other low one, should have been less trusting of "the system". So, yes, see if the drum retaining screw is too tight.

So the drum worked just fine for 9mm and throw HP38 and BE86 just fine but it wont rotate all the way for 40cal.

Agree with ^^^^.
Make sure the die is screwed in far enough to actuate the plunger completely without causing it to “hard stop” against the housing.

Question: are you using the powder thru riser with the autodrum?

Nope. Just using a normal flare die that come with the die set.

Ok. Then the suggestion I gave you is good. There’s a little more to check with the riser.

He took the drum off and it wasn’t on correctly. I was just going off the text messages I was getting. I went over and the measure wasn’t all the way in and drum loose.
