My brother-in-law gave me this CZ-52. He said he had had it a few years but could not get a shell to chamber. I brought it home took it apart and cleaned it. As you can see it is not close. He gave me about 30 rounds of 7.62x25. Some are from different manufacturers but still have the same result.

inspect the barrel to make sure the caliber is correct. After that, remove the extractor to see if that helps. I don't know the 52 well, but a tight extractor makes 1911 do this VERY frequently. A '52 is 9Mak right? Many 9Maks were rebarreled to .380 in other manufactures. Your not using 9mm Luger/Nato/Para are you? What cal is it marked?

I suspect that you have an issue with the locking rollers, the roller cam, the slide, the barrel (roller recesses) or some combination of those. Either wear, a broken part, or incorrect assembly may be involved. Do you have a schematic or any instructions to reference? If not do a web search and download. Be careful with aftermarket parts. Although not common any more they are out there. The rollers tend to be inferior and go out of round pretty quickly.

No. It is 7.62x25 Tok unless converted to 9mm x 19. Never has been 9mm Makarov.
my mistake, I haven't seen a 52 in 10 or more years. I would then try the roller to ensure they move freely, assuming I'm thinking of the right model. After that, its a matter of the chamber itself.

Have no idea. Looked for brass in chamber. The only thing I see is where barrel seats to chamber. Thought maybe the ammo but it is from different manufacturers and not even close. I know the gun has been fired with this ammo.

In the picture looking in the chamber it sorta looks like there's a case in there. Like the extractor pulled off the case head and left most of the case in place.

I would start by dissembling and doing a plunk test on the barrel... will a round go into the chamber when the barrel is not in the gun?

I have a 452 17HMR when I got it the mag follower was NOT bent right had to take it apart and bend it so shell would go in to chamber, Also bought after marked trigger springs then Glassed bedded it, Shoots great now, but what I paid for it I should not have to rebuild it.
