MidwayUSA shipping time.

Has anyone ordered anything from MidwayUSA since the “panic” started? If so how long did it take for them to ship? I placed a small order, three in stock items Monday and they still haven’t shipped. I know they are slammed but five days backed up?
I ordered 500 Hornady 45 cal 230 grain FMJ bullets from Midway 4/10/20. When they shipped they said it would be here 4/22. They arrived today, 4/20.

On 4/15 I ordered 500 44 cal 220 grain plated bullets from Berry's. They said they were so backed up there was no telling when orders would ship. They said they were so backed up they didn't even have time to answer the phone or emails. I figured I'd be giving myself those for a 2020 Christmas present. They arrived today with the Midway order.

No complaints.

They changed the setup, how to find things, etc. It is a but more......cumbersome, but still better than many sites out there.
While it is still better than some (Brownells...and Sinclair since they bought them), there are definitely worse sites out there, but I remember how awesome it was, so it makes it extra aggravating to me. :)

On a side note, they have taken a great website and ruined it over the last few years.

No doubt. The last two or three years it's gotten harder to navigate, search, and sort correctly with each update. I feel like it's gotten even worse for mobile devices even though undoubtedly a good bit of buisness comes via mobile.

I still try to use midway and natchez over the others. Just my preference.

Cabelas is still fast. I ordered a case of aguila 22 ammo saturday and it came today. Was setting outside on the wet ground....but it came

The fastest shipping I’ve ever received was from Able Ammo. I ordered a shotgun one Wednesday afternoon and my FFL called me late the next morning and informed me it had arrived.

After this week, I will no longer do business with MidwayUSA. A month ago a package from them arrived very late. I bought something from them on Tuesday, Next Day Air, and it hasnt even been given to UPS yet (2 days later). They will never see another nickle from me again.

I will have to say that my orders from Midway have arrived quickly in the last 2 months. I never had a problem with how fast Midway gets the order ready and to the shipper, it was a problem with who the shipped with and how packages were shipped. Here in the last couple of months all my orders have been shipped by UPS. The longest I have waited was 3 days which included the weekend. I'm so glad that they are NOT using FEDEX Sure Post anymore. FedEX Sure Post would take 5-6 days just to get a package shipped 55 miles.

Midway has always shipped quickly, it has been the carriers that have been slow, FEDEX Sure Post being the worst.

I'm lucky that if I need something right away I can just order on line and go pick it up at Midway or Graf and Sons.

I ordered recently from Midway, shipping was 6 days, faster than usual, and this was late May, added bonus, they only forgot one item this time.

Edit to add, Midway shipped same day. 6 days was transit time to NW WA. Normally shipping time has been 7-9 days.

Given that the fault could lie with the carriers, not Midway you are cutting off your nose to spite your face. USPS, FedEx and to a lesser extent UPS, screw up fairly often compared to a retailer like Midway - at least in my experience.

Yep UPS absolutely screwed up two deliveries from Midway in the last two months. The packages got to within 10 miles of me and then were returned to sender for no reason.

Over the last month Midway has shipped several of my orders within 24 hours. They are back up to full speed.

I ordered a Ruger 10-22 extractor from Midway on Monday before last (the 8th). It shipped in less than 24 hours, but I didn't get it until today (the 18th). According to the tracking, it looks like UPS let it sit on a shelf in Salt Lake for 4 days before transferring it to USPS for delivery to me.o_O

Ordered from Midway 6/16 and package shipped immediately. Scheduled to be here 6/19 via UPS. Quick shipping as long as UPS comes through. We'll see tomorrow.

I've placed a couple orders with Midway in the past couple weeks and delivery was as promised. Shipment was within a day or two of the order placement and it arrived a few days later.

My big complaint with Midway is their packaging. They do not consider weight of the items order very well and the shipping company gorillas frequently crush the shipping box. It is a miracle that the purchases manage to make it to our house.

UPS Surepost is a pain. I had an order with another firearm vendor that took two weeks on UPS Surepost. I sent a request to the vendor about a lost order and they said to wait 14 days before contacting them again. The order arrived in twelve.

One or two of the UPS drivers that service our address know us and by pass the post office for us, particularly when they have another box to deliver that is not Surepost. Our USPS Mail delivery driver is new to us and he leaves lots to be desired. The old driver retired recently and is sorely missed.

UPS will never do this anymore but in the 1980's we lived in Aiken, SC. The UPS driver would drop packages off in our full size red van if he saw it during his rounds in town. That was service.

Yes, Brownell's web site is a pain to navigate but sometimes they are the only game in town

i was going to order from midway and since it was going to be a has-mat i figured i may as well make it worth it . i wanted a 1000 remington 7 1/2 primers... soooo I figured i'd ordered 2000 and a pound of powder and some sierra 69gr .223 bullets . but midway says no you cant have 2000 primers you can have only 1000 . which made me hesitate . then i later went to order the 1000 and they did not have any . midsouth did have the 2000 remington primers and the powder and bullets i wanted . that was on the 6th .order showed up on the 18th . if any thing Ped me off i am 6 miles form one of the largest sporting goods stores in michigan but they are out of remington 7 1/2 primers and not a clue when they will be getting more .

I ordered a new scope from Midway on Monday, had it delivered Thursday (yesterday). I have never had any problems with them messing up my orders or with extraordinary long shipping times. Just my experience.
