Halstead Rod and gun club

I was looking to buy some 243 win ammo locally, the only stuff I could find was 35+ per box of 20. My wife works with a gent that it a boardember of Halstead Rod and gun club, halstead PA. He gave me the number of an FFL in halstead, Griffiths firearms, that informed me that the aforementioned club is in the process of finishing a 600 yd range. The range should be useable ny late December or early spring. He also said that the membership fee is 50.00 per year. So anyone local to the halstead area wanting to shoot 600 yds might want to look into aembership.

No I'm not a member yet, but am seriously considering it.

There are some back roads that be more direct. I Iirc there is a road in Damascus that comes out in great bend PA. There is 88 to 81s otherwise I don't know many other ways to get there. Id say definitely worth a look.

Wife just said that the club offers a family membership as well. Don't have details yet but hope to soon.

From my understanding they do. Especially if you have a family membership. Wife said that it's 100. That's the route I'll go. Asked her to have him get me an application.
