I have been looking for a leather bandoleer holster for my Smith and Wesson Model 64. Here is an image from an old Sportsman's Guide catalog that approximates what is my ideal holster combo (no, they don't carry this anymore):

Something like this looks perfect to carry while hunting, while on a day hike, etc. Looks like it would work while carrying a backpack and wearing a winter jacket too. Ammunition loops are great but if I could find one with speedloader pouches too that would be the bee's knees.

Since this would be used in the outdoors potentially in rain/snow I don't want to spend hundreds on it; a price point around $100-$150 would be the target. I have scoured the internet to no avail. I appreciate any leads fellow THR members may be able to provide.

About three seconds on google found everything from nylon to leather, mass produced to custom.

Thank you for the replies, but I think I found what I am looking for:

According to the website, it looks like the holsters are made in Minnesota; grand total of the holster, belt, extension and ammo loops looks around $130ish including shipping. I really didn't want to go the way of nylon; I've had nylon holsters and belts before and they didn't hold up.

It took a little while to find this company; I am looking at it as a Christmas present.

I've been looking at that same one for a couple of years. Let us know how it is!

Kiitos! Thank you for all the comments and advice. My wife said she'll get it as my Christmas gift so it will be a few months. I'll let everyone know about the fit, quality, etc. at a later date.

As an aside, my 7 year old son told me today that Trump has to win because he wants me to buy him a deer rifle next year. :) This is also the kid who told the counterman at the auto parts store "my Dad's voting Trump 2020; no more bull----". At first I was embarrassed but when everyone in the store laughed I couldn't help but laugh. Kids say the darndest things. ;)

I do have an update on this thread; unfortunately I didn't get the bandoleer and holster for Christmas; some other things came up that took precedence. I am looking at more like springtime to make this purchase.

Update: I talked to Sandy at Pistol Packaging; due to a weather event in Minnesota (that's where they're based) I may not get my order until later this week. I'll post pics as soon as I get it.

It's here and this holster combination is awesome! WOW is all I can say; it's everything as advertised but at a price point that doesn't break the bank; the materials and worksmanship are of the highest quality. I do highly recommend this holster based on what I have seen so far; as soon as the weather breaks a little I'll hit the hiking trails with it. This is a sweet rig that would be at home while hunting as well.
